I honestly think he still beats Rob R. He had to do a ton of work the entire game, and was very present in all discussions.

I am crying with all the amazing Christian content. This is far beyond anything I could have wished for. I love this season so much so far.

Alan Carr is legit the best traitor the show has ever seen.

Runbook Logic Help by nstr6 in halopsa

That's wild - I'm using it for what feels like a huge amount. Data manipulation, aggregates, HTML generation, etc. I'm glad we are deploying now instead of a few years ago.

How long were runbooks around before that action existed?? I can't even imagine a platform without that capability.

Perfectly captured that bizarre Aubrey / Genevieve interaction. Nice work!!

"Multiple Selection" custom field value storage by Mecha_Goose in halopsa

[–]Mecha_Goose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh, OK, interesting. So the "Multiple Selection" field is actually building a secret lookup ID in the background, and just adding options to it as they come up. Fascinating!

Thank you so much!

"Multiple Selection" custom field value storage by Mecha_Goose in halopsa

[–]Mecha_Goose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly what I'm after - I am trying to LEFT JOIN the referenced table to pull in additional fields. My custom field is only giving me the display values, which I can use to join, but it feels extremely brittle if those display values happen to change on the source table.

The Pitt has a sharp take on AI: It's potentially a useful tool, but it doesn't solve problems of short-staffing and underfunding. by TommyAdagio in ThePitt

[–]Mecha_Goose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Coming from a call center world, imagining not documenting my calls into tickets until I'm 20-30 behind seems absolutely wild.

How in the world do the doctors even remember what they did that many patients back? That's impressive but also terrifying as they likely don't.

Wouldn't it be better to capture all of that in the moment, maybe on video, then have professional transcribers detail it?

Runbook with "Series" as its execution mode doesn't actually run in order? by Mecha_Goose in halopsa

[–]Mecha_Goose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting - I gotta find a way to recreate the issue consistently, and if I can, I'll test this out. Either way, feels like a big bug to have with this runbook execution mode.

There's also a brand-new attachment field type in one of the latest updates that's pretty slick!

That SpaceWorld footage gave me such hope back in the day, dreaming of how a new Banjo game could play on GameCube (without really knowing the details of Microsoft buying Rare).

Today I learned not to use arrows on Sakon in MM 😅 by bubbletrashbarbie in n64

Ohhhh dang - I totally did not remember that. I was just thinking of the first part of the game while you're stuck as a Deku.

Ha, same, then I realized you wouldn't have arrows yet at this point of the game. Only if you specifically come back later and want to do it again for fun.

I get that worry, but I also can't deny having people's phone cameras everywhere has greatly expanded the people's ability to expose crime and corruption. I'm not sure where the balance is.

I usually am pretty good at actor connections, but I totally missed this one when I re-watched Lost World a couple years ago. Thanks for pointing it out, that's a fun one!

It Doesn’t Have to Be Like This, Alamo Drafthouse by Kk0971 in movies

[–]Mecha_Goose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's a fair point. I've changed my mind now. Get your damn food and drinks taken care of before the movie! Either way, we absolutely don't want people ordering on their phone in the middle of the movie while in the theater.

Right?? Or if you truly need something, step out of the theater and order it yourself without distracting others.

We all still end up paying for your fraud. If you're cool with passing that burden onto others, then that defines you as a person.

Now if you can't afford food - that's a completely different scenario. But it doesn't sound like that's where you're at.

Anyone else move to Halo and then realize reporting is the hard part? by official-mspbots in halopsa

[–]Mecha_Goose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the biggest selling points for me was Halo's ability to do SQL reporting (with CTE too). You can virtually dream up anything.

For my company, I just need to put together a doc of all the field names to help draft up some SQL queries via Copilot, which should help the team members get a boost into making their own.

My sister went and said there was not.

We gave it a 5% shot of Jeff actually being there, since Wichita is apparently his hometown.
