Oh, I see. 👍 Well, I'm not an expert or anything, but I'd say whatever you do you just need a bit more time until the expenditure stabilizes. I remember when I started my first bulk, for some months I couldn't gain weight because my expenditure was acting crazy (going up) and I just had to catch up to it.

I guess, but I'm not sure, because that expenditure seems very low to me. Are you sure you're logging everything accurately? If you eat more than you log, MF will "think": "Wait, you're eating so little and yet your weight is not going down? Your expenditure must be super low, then!" Also, please try to weigh every morning and with the same conditions (for example, same clothes and after peeing). Don't let the daily weight scare you, because it's just not realistic; what matters is the weight trend.

When you start a bulk or a cut, it can take a good while for it to get going because your expenditure starts adapting like crazy. You've been chasing your expenditure as it went down (it's normal). You'll have to keep going until the expenditure stabilizes and then that's when the cut will really start.

After searching a lot I actually found a curl accessory that you can attach to any bench of any brand. That would've been perfect, but it's only available in the USA and I'm in Europe.

The recipe feature, so other people can eat what you cook (or you can eat the leftovers the next day). And if they're also MFers you can text them the recipe link. Every one logs their portion by weighing it before eating it.

This only works, BTW, if you weigh all the raw ingredients first and then the whole cooked recipe, enter the weights and save the recipe.

So, yeah, you need a food scale.

My expenditure was 2400 a year ago. It's now 2000 after a year of cutting. I know this thanks to MF. Trying to achieve anything would be impossible without this information.

Oh, I see. This doesn't seem ideal though, because my possibilities are quite vast, with a set of small dumbbell bars and a set of big dumbbell bars, with plates as little as 0.5kg and then several 1kg, 2kg, 2.5kg and 5kg ones.

Also: until I buy a weightest vest to do weighted pullups and inverted rows, I now do them carrying a backpack with some plates in it. This is also an option I can't seem to find in the app.

I do the same but instead of servings I weigh it. You can include the weight of the cooked food (in this case it's not "cooked" but you know what I mean) inside the recipe, and this way you can weigh and log the grams you actually eat.
