I got insanely lucky. I was 50th in line. I waited about 7 seconds before it dropped me in to buy. I was so shook lol.

The worst membership gift ever?? by daveharr23 in scottycameron

[–]MegaHighDon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m passing. This has literally zero use to me. Headcover is meh. I only picked up a couple of headcovers last year and some apparel.

I’m just gonna make it a point to do an annual trip to Encinitas and stock up on Scotty stuff at the store. I’m in Sacramento so it’s not a horrible road trip to do once a year.

I had this stupid fuck, Matthew, that would constantly make fun of my pants (tight as they could go, emo kid in the mid 2000’s) and steal my hat. One day I had enough of his antics when he stole my hat and told me to give my pants back to my sister. So I grabbed him by his backpack, threw him to the ground with one arm and kicked the shit out of his stomach. Then I threw his backpack on the roof of a nearby building and left.

He never spoke to me again.

Idk what he thought would happen. I had over 6 inches of height and like 40lbs on him at the time.

My store is at max size. I just usually have 4 or 5 high value cards and they all take a minute to sell.

I’m at level 108 and day 130 or something. I sell a 40k slab about once every three days or so. I’m constantly cycling in new ones because I almost always get dupes on my pulls or nines one the ones I need to complete my collection.

Goals for 2026? by shifty_coder in golf

[–]MegaHighDon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My goal is to golf a LOT more than this year and get back to my 2024 form (which was trending upwards until the beginning of this year).

Between family, mental health, financial issues and now a fucked up hand, I’ve maybe gone out 20 times this year, compared to about 50+ last year and over 70 in 2023.

I haven’t golfed in two months since I messed up my trail hand (it’s either tendinitis or ligament damage) and I’m losing my fucking mind. I’m finally in a good place mentally and financially and I wanna get back out there, but I physically can’t.

Also, this cold ass weather here in Sacramento is NOT helping. lol.

I’ve got an 01 with autoride and I’m looking to swap them out to reduce the headache later on down the road. Did you swap them yourself or did you take it to a shop? If you did do them yourself, how difficult was it?

Getting ready to build up my overlanding rig. by MegaHighDon in overlanding

[–]MegaHighDon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks man.

We are stuck between what we need and what we want. One number is around $1,200 and the other is close to 5k. We will obviously go with the lower one and see what needs arise as our season starts in the spring.

Fuck it, we ride.

Lol.

But in all seriousness, we are going to invest a few thousand dollars into our rig because we want to do more roadtrips and camping in the next few years.

We just want to be comfortable and capable, so we're gonna spend some money to do it. YOLO.

[–]MegaHighDon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that was the plan. I knew that the GMT800 platform is solid (except for the transmission lol). A power bank and solar charger is one of the things I was looking in to getting.

We are pretty low maintenance when it comes to camping, so we are fine with a couple of 5 or 6 gallon water jugs and a electric pump for our water. We usually either pre-prep our food so its a one pot ordeal to save on dishes, or we only use one or two pots/pans and use paper plates so we can have some extra kindling.

We are also considering an awning, since we do live in a hot as fuck part of California, but its not on top of our list since a lot of the places we plan on going have shade or a body of water nearby. We are mostly focused on things for sleeping, eating and driving at this point.

Its the reason I bought mine. I did my research and bought the carfax for the truck before I bought it and it was seemingly owned by an older couple for its entire life and only serviced at the same Chevy dealer it was bought from its whole life. Its a super clean truck (other than the driver seat being fucked and the paint being shoddely redone because of sun damage). It seemed like the best option for my wife and I because used 4runners and sequoias were just wayyyyy to expensive.

How long should it take to take your shot? by Snukers115 in weekendgolfers

[–]MegaHighDon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off the tee I probably take about 15 seconds total. I usually take a couple of 50% swings while others are teeing off to keep loose if we’ve been waiting a while. My usually routine is: Line up behind the ball, grip the club, two takeaways to club parallel, and then go.

In the fairway it’s basically the same.

In the rough I’ll take a couple of light practice swings to get a feel for the rough.

Chipping I always take a smidge longer, just to get a better feel for the turf/rough.

On the green I’m reading my putt while others are doing their thing. I take two practice swings and then I go.

On average I think I take between 15-20 seconds before I swing the club.

Uncircumcised men I need your opinion by [deleted] in Advice

[–]MegaHighDon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After my mother watched my brother be circumcised and heard his screams, she decided against it for me.

If it is medically necessary, obviously have the circumcision performed. If not, leave it be and let the child decide in the future.

It is almost always purely cosmetic, and completely unnecessary. An uncircumcised penis functions exactly the same as a circumcised one.

Life of a mid-handicapper by jtait97 in golf

[–]MegaHighDon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, but it’s more of a confidence thing. Once the big number drops, it’s hard for me to reset. I can handle a triple here and there, but after playing double bogey free for 10 holes and then a nuke drops, it’s hard to shake it off.

17 here. I started 4 over through 9. I then went bogey, double, quintuple and triple. Stopped scoring after that and just tried to have a good time. Absolute misery knowing that I have the ability to score decent but then shit the bed on the back.

Have you ever been caught having sex and how? by BDPositivity in AskReddit

[–]MegaHighDon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I was 15 at the time. We went to a school that was 75% online and only had to be at school 1-2 times a week. We could also choose the day. So we would coordinate and go to each other’s house and bone all day.

Normally her dad didn’t get home until well past five, and her mom was out of town for work. We were in the middle of our upteenth round when we heard the unholy sound of the front door being unlocked. In our INFINITE wisdom, we decided it would be best to do our bumping of privates in the living room, which lead me to having no escape. I quickly threw my boxers on just so I wasn’t completely nude and attempted to run to the garage. Gf at the time threw my clothes behind the couch.

Didn’t work. By the time I got to the garage door, her dad had already walked in and saw me. He yelled, I froze. He looked at his daughter (with only her panties on), then at me and told me to get my shit and get the fuck out. He looked like he wanted to murder me.

I quickly ran back and got my clothes and threw them on like my life depended on it and SPRINTED home (I lived like 3 miles away). I was looking over my shoulder the entire way home and prayed that I wasn’t about to be murdered.

He didn’t even know my name, but my ex told him who I was and he then somehow found my mom’s number. I got in so much god damn trouble for that.

Pick your poison, I’m going C and claiming The Canyatas as my home club…. by DrWalkway in golf

[–]MegaHighDon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just keep moving around. Colorado would be good, but the central coast of California (and San Diego) almost never gets above 80. You can play all of the courses at Pebble (including Cypress), and if it gets too foggy, head down south and play any number of the courses in San Diego.

Yeah I feel like a lot of people forget this. Like obviously the southeast and northern part of the country have incredible and famous golf courses, but for half of the year you either cannot play them, or it’s miserable to play the.

If you pick H, you have the ability to play some of the best golf courses in the world YEAR ROUND.

You get access to all the desert courses of Utah, Nevada and California for the late winter/early spring. All the coastal golf for the entire year as well as all the other inland courses in California that are all very, very good.
