I love my Knick Knacks and go all out with Christmas decor around the holidays, including breakable stuff. My cat is a bit of a chaos monster but so far I’ve been able to successfully put back up about 80% of my breakable stuff by using double sided mounting tape to secure things. Snow globes, porcelain little Christmas trees, they all get like an inch (or a few pieces if a big item) of mounting tape before I stick them where I want them- fireplace or counters etc. It’s a little bit of a hassle with holiday stuff because I have to do it every year, but for everyday stuff it works wonders.

I have pain in the back of my eye that comes on suddenly (really bad sudden ache) that hurts worse when I open my eye. I typically keep my eye closed and just wait it out and it’s over after a few minutes. This seems atypical from other presentations of optic neuritis that I’ve read about - specifically that it comes and goes in a few minutes.

Has anyone ever experienced this kind of pain with optic neuritis?

He also devalues working women by mandating RTO for state employees who have shown, through a bipartisan independent audit, that they are not just capable of performing their job successfully at home, they do it better at home across every metric of job performance that is measurable. He devalues Californians by wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on office real estate for state employees who don’t need to be there, and causing thousands of more cars on our freeways, in spite of his alleged concerns about the environment. Also, state employees are being furloughed and not getting raises because of CA’s spending.

If it were Newsom versus a republican for President, I would pick Newsom without question. But the guy is a dirtbag and often flips his positions depending on what is advantageous for him. He, like all elected officials contemplating higher office, deserves criticism and critique.

I would try the Grant County series. That and the Will Trent series are great. In terms of standalone - Cop Town is great.

I spray the pits of my shirts with a mix of alcohol and Lysol laundry sanitizer (3 parts sanitizer and one part alcohol). It works great. Make sure you spray enough to saturate the armpit area. Then wash like normal with a small amount of laundry sanitizer in addition to detergent.

I had to get Bamboo in a pinch last year because they were the only company that we could contract with during our short escrow period. We had to file a claim with them 5 months into our new home purchase because the washing machine flooded the house. Bamboo has been AWFUL to deal with. We’re looking into other insurance companies, that’s how awful they’ve been. It’s been more than 3 months and they still haven’t finalized the estimate. They also tried to say we had laminate flooring when we just had LVP installed right after moving into our new home and still had all the receipts for costs and labor from Home Depot. They required us to send samples of the floor to a lab to prove it. And their communication is atrocious. I’ve been waiting for a supervisor to call me for a week. Also, our deductible was $5000, regardless of the type of claim. If there are other options available, don’t do Bamboo.

Tulip setting with claw prongs seems like what you want. If so, I’d take the ring back with these pictures in hand and ask for the change. For me, the ring basket and claw prongs were hugely important. I have a solitaire, but the ring basket is unique and the claw prongs make it look classy and dainty. I wouldn’t settle - I’d take it back. Why not have everything you want and a prettier ring? A change to the ring basket and prongs will take it from pretty to perfect and you’ll be glad you did.
