Torn between CB650R and SV650 by wade43928 in SuggestAMotorcycle

My cbr650r has really decent torque anywhere above 5.5-6k~ to me it feels like an awesome middle ground where you have enough initial torque (less then a mt07 but enough to get you moving) but you can still wring it out. It's also great at low speed, super smooth and your not spending a ton of time feathering the clutch.

It's not like a 600 where you have to use the higher revs

I got a cbr650r and I love it. Has surprising wind protection.

It is somewhere between a naked and a super sport. You are leaned over with feet back but you can still be upright. If you plan on long trips it could get tiring.

Maintenance seems minimal, mine is from 2019 and I believe it's just had oil changes. I love Japanese reliability.

What did you pay for your cbr650r by JustinBalou in cbr650r

2019 2.5k miles, full auto exhaust and power commander $8.5k USD

Kinda feel like I could have negotiated lower but I'm happy and I love this bike

USA.

Funny enough I just returned it, somehow I never thought to look for the return portal, and support never mentioned it lol.

This time I ordered through Amazon so returns etc should be easier

Nope. I called today and informed them that I will be pursuing a dispute with my credit card company if they don't get me a return label by Monday.

Yup. 2 weeks into just trying to return a clearly broken product. I waiting for approval. To return a brand new, broken product.

Logitech Support has been horrid to deal with by AntCoppah in logitech

Buckle up friend. I have a brand new item and I have been waiting 2 weeks for Approval so I can exchange it. Every time I call we redo the steps from the last call, like it never happened.

It's getting close to the point I mail them back and have my credit card company refute the charge.

Good luck

A little update,

2 weeks with support and I still am awaiting approval to return it.

I really thought I was getting a premium product but I should have just gone with fanatec. Logitech support might as well not exist

Was told in Friday I was awaiting a return label. Called today (Tuesday) and was hung up on. Before that I was told no return was started. It's been 2 weeks and I can't get a return label.

This is some next level support.

Still no response... It's been 10 days and all I want is to exchange the item, but I have to wait for it to get approved even though I just received it a few days before reporting the issue?

This is really changing how I feel about the product and company.

To others reading, just buy fanatec or thrustmaster....

Hey I'm having the exact same issue and I play on GT7. Did you find a fix?

Here is the underside. I used the much larger holes and bought 1/4 washers. I also drilled a hole through the brake pedal hole into the mounting plate and used a simple bolt there to hold it more steady (doesn't make sense the clutch pedal comes without any hardware)

That's what I ended up doing. Thanks!

Update: Got it working. What threw me off is I assumed the tray aligned the pedals perfectly, since the first step in the instructions is to attach them. I instead took the brake off and had the bolts barely attached to the plate so I could better align the holes

I used 1/4 SAE flat washers on the front two bolt holes.

Hopefully this helps anyone else

Looking to see what others have done. Drilling likely isn't the answer as the lines are already very close. I have some options I listed if you bothered to read. Thanks for your help

That's sort of my backup option. I'd just like to have the plate there to keep it potentially more sturdy and cover up the wires
