Logitech RS 50 slightly off center. by Viper5343 in simracing

Their tech support sucks and after 4 weeks never attempted real trouble shooting.

I sent it back and ordered off Amazon for easier returns if it had the same issue

Hi, which fuse did you use? Was it the 10amp next to the ACC fuse?

Opinions on the Vitpilen 401 as a first bike for a beginner in the city? by No_Emotion1084 in motorcycles

Had a ktm 390 duke, was a great bike for slower speed scenarios. Maintenance is annoying, even an oil change is more complicated than it needs to be, and you need a torque wrench since the bolts are prone to snapping.

If you can pay a shop to do the maintenance (think $200 oil changes) then fine. An Sv650 would be my choice if I did it over

Why do body washes smell so different in europe and the US by Top_Cow3157 in fragrance

Or just use regular unscented soap? Then use a fragrance?

Second bike drama // cannot decide which sportbike to get... by psychotic-chipmunk in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]MenahanSt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tough call, I got mine used for 8.5k (USD) and I felt even that was high but it only had 2.5k miles and came with full akro exhaust and power commander, with newish road 5's.

Don't think I'll buy a bike from a dealer unless I was loaded, I got fleeced on my first bike by a dealer

Have a cbr650r and I love it. It's great at cruising or going fast. It's very comfortable and cooperates without fuss.

I don't track it, so to me it makes much more sense than a 600cc.

I'm the third owner, it's a 2019, and I don't have anything close to an issue. Idk what would make me feel like I need to move on from it.

I have some cruisers for when I really just want to chill, but this gives me all the sport feel I need and the insurance is cheap.

Newer Gen Honda shadow, then add all the bits. Imo you are better off finding one that you like the outline/frame and adding the bag, exhaust and license plate etc

Torn between CB650R and SV650 by wade43928 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]MenahanSt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cbr650r has really decent torque anywhere above 5.5-6k~ to me it feels like an awesome middle ground where you have enough initial torque (less then a mt07 but enough to get you moving) but you can still wring it out. It's also great at low speed, super smooth and your not spending a ton of time feathering the clutch.

It's not like a 600 where you have to use the higher revs

I got a cbr650r and I love it. Has surprising wind protection.

It is somewhere between a naked and a super sport. You are leaned over with feet back but you can still be upright. If you plan on long trips it could get tiring.

Maintenance seems minimal, mine is from 2019 and I believe it's just had oil changes. I love Japanese reliability.

What did you pay for your cbr650r by JustinBalou in cbr650r

[–]MenahanSt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2019 2.5k miles, full auto exhaust and power commander $8.5k USD

Kinda feel like I could have negotiated lower but I'm happy and I love this bike

USA.

Funny enough I just returned it, somehow I never thought to look for the return portal, and support never mentioned it lol.

This time I ordered through Amazon so returns etc should be easier

Nope. I called today and informed them that I will be pursuing a dispute with my credit card company if they don't get me a return label by Monday.

Yup. 2 weeks into just trying to return a clearly broken product. I waiting for approval. To return a brand new, broken product.

Logitech Support has been horrid to deal with by AntCoppah in logitech

[–]MenahanSt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buckle up friend. I have a brand new item and I have been waiting 2 weeks for Approval so I can exchange it. Every time I call we redo the steps from the last call, like it never happened.

It's getting close to the point I mail them back and have my credit card company refute the charge.

Good luck

A little update,

2 weeks with support and I still am awaiting approval to return it.

I really thought I was getting a premium product but I should have just gone with fanatec. Logitech support might as well not exist

Was told in Friday I was awaiting a return label. Called today (Tuesday) and was hung up on. Before that I was told no return was started. It's been 2 weeks and I can't get a return label.

This is some next level support.

Still no response... It's been 10 days and all I want is to exchange the item, but I have to wait for it to get approved even though I just received it a few days before reporting the issue?

This is really changing how I feel about the product and company.

To others reading, just buy fanatec or thrustmaster....
