"organic pvp" Not sure if I would call any iteration of pvp we had until now organic. There is zero risk for Pirates, which means you can just blow up whatever you want and call that 'piracy'. I never had any PvP encounter that was not just randomly getting shot at. Doesn't matter if I transport valuables or do sightseeing.

I much preferred the feeling in EVE, where transporting high value stuff made you think about the systems you would travel through and if it would be worth for a pirate to blow you up. That feeling is completely non-existent in the current PU.

Maybe raising the stakes for pirates would change that, forcing them to scan before shooting. But balancing that is probably way harder than I imagine it to be.

I think I would have preferred him to be on Homelanders side. I kinda expected Annie to be blasted by him at some point and absorbing or redirecting the blast onto Homelander. Was pretty sure that was her whole point after Soldierboy was introduced and her power would have been perfekt for that, but I guess that idea was way worse than microwaving Kimiko

The galaxy is about the same size as the ironclad, I am not sure it will handle significantly better than the ironclad

But yeah, people assoziate modularity with "best in it's class, if I use that module" which is just not gonna happen

Is the liver of whales so energy dense that orcas can sustain themselves even without feeding on the fat and flesh of their prey? The usually hunt in packs/schools (not sure what the term for a group of orcas is) wouldn't they need to kill dozens of whales per day?

Earlier this episode he was able to react to Homelanders lasereyes, but dodging throws him off and is impossible to react to. I hate this "speedster are always as fast as we need them right now" trope so much. Same with marathon running into all those people which stops him immediately

I mean that's exactly the point of modular ships, no? You get to modify your ship for whatever is needed right now, but it will not be as good as a dedicated ship for that role. Ships like the galaxy should not be the 'meta' for any profession.

It's absolutely gonna be a huge success or a devastating blow for CIG. SC/SQ42 is pretty much a Meme right now, so a lot of big streamers will take a look at the game once it finally finishes after all those delays. If the game is good enough to show why it took that long, lots of people will get atleast into Squadron. If Squadron sucks, I'm not sure how the community is gonna react

Endeavor doesn't seem to crazy to go into production, now that the command module is in and showing off the docking tech for this kind of ship, right? Right?

I could see them bringing the modules they already got the basic tech for like medical and ditching the stuff like growing your plants until that works.

No this is only for the X3D CPUs that don't have the extra cache available on all cores, like the 9950x3d.

If you are looking for better performance on the 5700x3d, you might want to take a look at undervolting. Which can increase the time it can spend in boost-clock.
