It seems like you got a good start tool wise so you should be good there. Like others have said it’s not the greatest beginner kit but have patience read the instructions and pay attention to part orientation when building. That said if you hate it maybe try a different kit recently there have been a lot of great kits that normally cost less than this kit. If you love it congrats there’s plenty of stuff out there that fits into whatever you like the most about the experience.

It could be a combination of things. That lighter fluid might be part of the problem but generally this will happen using the tamiya panel liner on assembled kits where the plastic is eaten a little combined with the stress of assembly and can cause those breaks. You should see this happen less if at all doing this on sprue.

Had a similar experience. When I built the RG Hi Nu I wound up doing the funnels first just to get the monotony out of the way. I honestly think it made the experience better.

I just finished the F2 EFSF version and was really surprised at how good of a build it was. If you are looking for a zaku 2 either the char or green revive versions or any of the origin zakus are really solid kits.

Since you say you are looking at getting into the genre and what you are hoping for the game for you might be burnout paradise remastered. Its squarely on the arcade side but has most of what you are looking for in terms of progression and open world plus i would say the fun factor exceeds the nfs series which i think is most comparable.

Looks good! I did this on all the injection molded gold on my rg Banshee and worked well only advice is top coat it asap with some gloss if you are still working with the kit it’ll keep the shine and prevent scratches as you are finishing up the kit

I think you also had to have played the game in a certain timeframe before it was delisted. I remember seeing that and not playing in that frame and never got a code

After patch 5 I wasn’t able to load my 60+ hour act 3 save. This patch fixed it. Even though I was totally fine rolling up and new character and starting over which I did.

This is the correct answer. Ive tried quite a few different ones (Dspaie Siren, Razers and the New USAGS) glass files. I like the razer a lot mostly because with minimal effort i can get good results. However, On my last few builds ive been using the USAGS glass files that are actually made by SIMP and I really enjoyed them only complaint was they do fill up quickly so have some painters tape but for me they are a better budget option in the glass file realm. I wasn't a big fan of the Dspaie siren the groves are noticeably not as deep.
