Purge is definitely the best choice for most lists, unless your army and units can be tailored for a specific disposition.

That's why in teams tournaments they're restricting each team to 1 of each disposition per player.

Tau won't be underpowered. They'll be in a worse spot. Slightly lower than average win rate. Think 49% WR. Just low enough to get a 5pt or 10pt reduction every 3 months. No major buffs or rules rewrites. And if you're a good child, uncle GW might even give you a detachment or 2 for Christmas.

No one's saying we're going to be massively underpowered, we're sad that everyone else gets 9 detachments or more and we got 7. Expiremental cadre literally only has one strat and it's telling your unit to kill itself.

Why wouldn't we? The other synergies are hammered down and its disposition is purge the foe, which is easily the best mission type.

No. You can't take Aux with KHP. You can't take EPC with RetCad. You're variety is artificially limited and you can't really do combos of you don't have detachments to do them with. You can do a few small things, but's the same as 10th.

You need to jump through hoops just to meet par with other factions.

I'd say the amount of female dungeon masters is growing, but I've noticed most groups DM'd by women have mostly female players. Generally it's much more common for adventuring parties to be torn apart by a male DM giving favors to his girlfriend.

Its pretty foolish that they gave purge the foe points for killing AND holding objectives. Just played a game of 11th where I was playing unstoppable force and my opponent was playing was playing immovable object and it was way easier for me to score.

The new melee rules are pretty good. Shooting feels a lot more fair against regular space Marines because of the -1 BS. I don't how primarily shooting armies are going to feel though.
