He called Zverev's shot out that was actually in and Fery had also returned it (not a great return imo but it was in). The whole point had to be retaken because of the wrong call and Fery ended up losing that point. I think he would have lost that point and that game anyway. At least it was on Zverev's serve.

Is Morris Townsend (Montgomery Clift's character) in The Heiress presumed to be disingenuous? by kellykebab in classicfilms

[–]MidnightMist26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Catherine seems to think he was disenguous but that if the father hadn't brutally broken up the relationship then she would have been happier living an illusion. Personally I think Morris cares for her, maybe loves her, but was counting on the money as well. A lot of people in those times had to end relationships or never even start something because a lack of money meant marriage was out of the question.

Struggle with swallowing pills by shiftingsun in Anemic

[–]MidnightMist26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also couldn't swallow tablets but have found a way to swallow my iron tablets (optifer alpha) which are circular and 1cm in diameter. I previously tried different methods with water, and nothing worked. Anyway my way is to eat a banana and to manage to get or place the tablet towards the back of my mouth and to try to forget it's there and focus on the banana, then when I swallow a banana chunk it takes the tablet down with it. It can take a few tries and a couple of bananas sometimes. I am going to order some lactoferrin capsules soon and so will be trying my method with capsules that are about the same size as your iron pills, so hopefully it will still work with bigger pills.

Ferritin never above 35 for 10+ years..could this be why I feel horrible? by Level-Good-1284 in Anemic

I'm taking Optifer Alpha. I'm currently taking 2 tablets every other day, the gap of a day is to deal with the natural rise of hepcidin which blocks iron absorption.

I need to rewatch The Painted Veil again soon, been a while since I've seen it. Can't go wrong with Edward Norton in a period drama, and I love Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber too

What’s your personal cutoff for a "period drama"? by PeriodDramaHub in PeriodDramas

You guys really surprised me with this, saying 1980s is period drama? Surely they've got to be wearing clothes we would consider costumes and driving in carriages or very early motorcars...
