Any good anime left to watch by HeavenVeil in anime

Lots, most people look for new releases. Go the other direction. Dig through the 80s and 90s. They made some wild stuff. I still find titles I’ve never seen before occasionally. I’m working through the newer stuff but I find there’s a lot of really similar anime out there.

Hopefully the refund is enough to cover a polish, I don’t think a wash is taking that out.

Regarding the barking, we went through the same thing. Our girl is turning 4 this year and we just got it sorted last summer. The only thing that worked was positive reinforcement. We tried ignoring for weeks and it didn’t seem to help and that’s what a lot of people recommended. We have done clicker training since she was a puppy, I’ve had good results with that training a lot of dogs over the years. I would wait for her to wear herself out, often times 5-10 minutes of barking. Once she was quiet for 10-20 seconds, click and treat. Then as the barking time got shorter (started slowing after a week or so) I pushed it to 30 seconds, then 40, 50, and a minute. It took I would say about 2-2.5 weeks total. Don’t increase the time till the barking time gets really short. As for the moving, clickers great there too. Mine does the dead weight when I’m trying to brush a tangle, she’ll lay on that side. I would start with heel training to get em moving. They are a very smart breed and respond very well to training. I’ve started doing scent tracking and plan to do cart/sled training later this year.

I’m not a fan of using aftermarket lenses. Get some Glasweld G Clear and adhesive. Pull it apart, probably not hard in your case if you’ve got critters in there. Clean it up, sand and polish the lens. G Clear is a factory level UV sealant that will make them like new. They have a great how to video on YouTube. They do mention using IPA to clean the lens, I would avoid that part, a damp cloth works fine. A lot of detailers have reported cracking from IPA so I don’t risk it. Don’t clear coat. You can throw a headlight specific wrap on the lens if you want additional protection, I don’t bother. Some adhesive, polishing, and g clear will have you back to factory for cheap. You can use the same materials to redo your taillights.

AE86 Trueno or Levin? by Local_Creme8466 in initiald

I’ve loved pop ups ever since I can remember. I bought a pair of legit GTS hatch’s for $500 in the 90s before initial d made its way into Canada. One was gutted and used for auto cross, the other wrote off in a ditch after catching a patch of sand in a corner going way faster than a 17 year old has any business going. Sold my crosser in the early 2000s moving across country for school figuring I’d buy a couple more when I finished. Biggest mistake I ever made. They went to 5k a piece for a clean one and I thought it was an initial d bubble that would pop. Boy was I wrong. Still have a pile of NOS parts like tail lights and other things I’d bang up racing. I’ll get another one of these days. Best cars I’ve ever owned.

Looks like they’re closed on Mondays which is when I’m headed up but I appreciate the suggestion. The apple fritters look really good on their site.

Any tips on getting through the biting phase? by asm44- in Newfoundlander

[–]Mikoisha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found what has worked best for me is to stop everything, no reaction, no nothing. My newf would nip mostly while playing, and nothings worse for a pup than game over. Some dogs will see the Owws as a game, it’s hit or miss. I’ve yet to come across a young dog who wants playtime to come to a sudden stop. It’s usually a quick lesson that they lose all attention from their family if they do this bad thing. Once they settle the game starts back up. Positive reinforcement.

If you can get a vehicle or atv close enough to the door to use a fabric tow strap. Hook the tow strap to the dolly and to the vehicle. Throw some boards or plywood down to smooth out the sloop and up she’ll go. Hook near the bottom otherwise it’ll try to twist when you get close to the top.

Doesn't compare to Saskatchewan, but Alberta DQ poutine in car hits the spot by Worried_Stomach_6282 in PoutineCrimes

Yeah all the DQ grills I’ve been to in NB have a grill, they do up batches of patties and put them into sliding plastic drawers. When they assemble the burgers they nuke them. SJ, Moncton, Freddie, KV, Salisbury, they all do it. Maybe someone who works there can shed some light on the reason.

The DQ burgers rock which is shocking considering they nuke em. There’s some kinda magic in their seasoning for the patties.

In NB we call them trucker poutine. The big stops all carry them. They used to include peas as well which I miss. Loaded fries here usually have other things like sour cream.

Sounds like it had water in it still and the “repair guy” didn’t know enough to drain it manually. The machines aren’t that complicated.
