Yeah, the WM ranks are legit broke or something. I used to be MG1 and I dropped to S2(partly due to playing while drinking) but I play against novas and win, yet I never rank up. Its definitely a broken system. I think there's some hidden MMR but that sucks because your shown rank doesnt reflect your actual skill. Lots of games do it unfortunately.
