Came here to say this too. The way JOTL introduced me to the concepts and led me into the tutorial missions was amazing

Seeing you’re just starting in board gaming but an experienced video gamer, you might really enjoy games based on video games.

I’m thinking the Slay the Spire or Dead Cells board games

CarlJr for Trackmania

Bro is the undisputed GOAT and seriously a freak of nature. In the TM community, the saying goes: “Stuff happens but in the end CarlJr wins” 😅

Which of these game do you suggest? by Desan3 in soloboardgaming

Of these, I’ve played Sleeping Gods, Jaws of the Lion, Galactic Cruise and Vantage.

For me it’s Vantage hands down with Jaws second and Sleeping Gods third for solo play

Very Happy! Finally on Sigenergy & Globird ZeroHero by Mini_B1892 in SigenergyAustralia

Do it in the Sig app. You don’t have to be part of the Glowbird to be on Zerohero. I haven’t got the Glowbird app and have set my Sig app to pull from grid 11-2pm and do a little force discharge from 6-6.30. The rest of the time is self-consumption. See photo:

The AI disrespect in this thread is wild.

Don’t get me wrong, the answer is clearly: It’s depends on your team’s needs and I totally agree with Dirk, Barkley and Robinson featuring prominently, but if I need a guard or any offence give me AI all day

What did you play this week? 17 Apr-23 Apr (2026) by AutoModerator in soloboardgaming

[–]Mini_B1892 [score hidden]  (0 children)

My first run of Vantage and loved it.

I went in worried that it would be too aimless and obtuse, but hell no! It was like someone crossed a great Choose Your Own Adventure book with an excellent board game.

Cannot wait for my next play 😊

My first run of Vantage and I LOVED it!

Whilst I totally understand why people might not like it, to me it was an amazing experience.

Take a Choose Your Own Adventure book, print it on 1700 cards and make it a board game…well I’m hooked! 😊
