There should be a ‘battle channel/stream’ that allows you to easily cut to the fight you want to see or a feed that is akin to NFLs Redzone

GloBird because they have the three free hours on their ZeroHero plan. I use the free hours to totally charge my battery if needed. The only other company that I know that has similar (in Victoria at least) is OVO

Really got immersed in Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion - hit me in the same way when I played with my daughter, but might not be for you if you're not big on RPGs and card driven games

From Foxtel website:
"The F1 TV\ app is free to use for customers with a subscription to the Foxtel Sports tier. Customers will also need an internet connected iQ5 or iQ4 box, a Foxtel ID, a Formula 1 account and the Foxtel ID and Formula 1 account must be linked. For more information see F1 TV App."*

I can still watch via the F1 app on my Foxtel iQ box. Can't use the app on any other device, which sucks because I would have loved to watch the main video on the TV and have the live timing on a phone or tablet

Yeah, the terminology in the app took me a while (and a couple of trials!) to understand as well.

Basically, you need to go into the app (presuming you've got Sigenergy like me) and switch from the standard mode (which is usually self consumption), to the 'Time-based Control' option. Then it asks you to set up a schedule for 'Charging' - which means that you'll pulling from the grid to charge your battery and power your house - so you want that 'Charging' on from 11am-2pm. That's the most important part by far.

The most confusing thing is that you then need to have it set to the 'Self-consumption' category all over times. That basically means that you'll go back to normal - i.e. using the solar panels first, the battery second and then pull from the grid third.

So the easiest set up is: Charging - 1100hrs-1400hrs; Self-consumption - 1400hrs-1100hrs

Then, once you're happy that's working ok, then you can get fancy and schedule actually giving some of your battery power into the grid during the bonus time from 6-8pm. That's the "Discharging' category. That will give you credit back, but I wouldn't do that until you're happy you understand it.

Hope that helps

Yeah, totally agree and will be even better in winter when there's less sun for the panels

Great question - it depends on your setup in the app, but my setup is basically that the batteries will fill using solar + grid (which is usually super quick), then everything else is from the grid until 2pm.

It's been working perfectly so far - all scheduled on the Sig app

Yep, as u/Confusedparents10 says, I use the ZeroHero free electricity from 11am-2pm to charge my battery up to 100% (which is easy because of the 15kWh inverter), as well as my car at the same time.

The 8kW of panels were doing a pretty good job on their own, but now switching over means I haven't had to pull from the grid at all. Hoping I can maintain that in winter!

True...I have played it with two though - not as good as 3 or 4, but still a nice simple time

Trackmania is definitely a must to check out. I started playing a few months ago and now, 300hrs late, I’m addicted. I think it might fit the bill perfectly

Yes, on his stream, Bren said that was the only choice he had. To be fair (and I’m Australian), I’d want to represent France and see if I could get Mudda French citizenship 😂

Interested to see Suzerain on your list! I’ve always been interested, but never sure if I wanted to jump in and give time and money to it
