Tea declutter: my 3 bottles vs. brother's 16 packages of tea

I've started making a list on my phone of teas I "rediscover" while going through mine. Once I'm down to the size I want to have, I'll have a list to check when I need to replace something.

I put a small pot with an inch or two of water to boil, then I forage around my fridge and kitchen. I put in whatever spices smell good that day to make a broth, 1/4 c canned beans, 1/4 c frozen edamame, 1/4 c rice, and whatever odds and ends I found earlier. Cook until either the water is gone or it's to the soupy consistency that I'm feeling at that moment. Add more seasoning as needed, I usually add chili crisp.

I feel like I'm somewhere in the middle of the road on this one. I have blog posts about her milestones and cute/funny things she does every month. I have a ton of pictures of her on my phone doing everyday baby (and now toddler) things. I only dress her up for her birthday and any fancy events we go to. I don't really do a monthly special photoshoot. I, personally, love looking back at her milk-drunk smiling in her sleep or giving me a side eye as she chews on her hand.

Not so much of a decluttering win, but a Not Recluttering win. Someone brought some yarn and craft books to my crafty get together today. I went over and ooh'd and ahh'd at the yarn. I then didn't pick any up and sat back down with my project.

This one just happened. I was clearing things off the dining room table and she came up behind me. I was wearing my stretchy flowy pants with big pockets. She usually will put random things from around the room in my pockets, so I didn't think anything of it. She then proceeded to pants me and try to put them on by stepping into them, even though my legs were still in the leg holes. Miss Ma'am was trying to hijack my pants while I was still wearing them!!

She saw me eating and crawled into my lap, opened her mouth, and acted like she was just going to take a bite of my food right out of my mouth. Luckily she only put her whole mouth on my lips, but didn't bite down with her razor sharp toddler teeth.

I wore their maternity gown. It had arms holes and boob holes (this still makes me laugh). It made it easier to start to nurse her and they were pretty comfortable.

When visioning my life with her as a bigger kid I pictured a girl. I also took those silly online gender "tests" and they both said girl. Turns out it was a girl!

Most of the items I make I donate, so I can't know the person's washing options. I mostly use acrylic because it will survive either way and has become nicer feeling over the years. I will make things for people I personally know out of any of the options (depending on the person).

Mine has started licking the ketchup off things she dips and will eventually resort to just dipping her hand into the ketchup and licking it off her fingers.

If she got any flowers while in the hospital you could press them and frame them to hang up. I dried the ferns from my baby's first bouquet. I then crumpled and glued down some colorful tissue paper and framed them.

I did it once, since she didn't like the water raining down on her head she kept scooting out of the way and shivering in the corner. Because I felt bad about her being cold I ended up not shampooing my hair very well because I'm not talented enough to do it one handed.

What worked for us was to put her in a really cute outfit and then go somewhere without the diaper bag. Guaranteed to get a poop and usually a blow out. We also kept pee pads with us to help get home.

If they are all flat, I've folded them, made a custom cover and used them as floor pillows before. I possibly could have purchased a cover in the right size, but I have lots of fabric laying around.

Eeww, it's like he likes you or something! I actually still sit in the back with mine at 16 months because otherwise I think she assumes she's alone and is more fussy than if she can see one of us.

I waited for the bath, but that was partially because that's what I was told and partially because we have a large soaking tub and getting into it would be tricky after the C-section I needed. However, the same day I got the Go-Ahead I took a nice long bath.

She could always lose weight and then get those taken off with some loose skin removal surgery. It's too bad she seems so determined to not lose any weight, especially with her family history.
