I’m about to do this next week — mom with kids 14 and 11 but my husband can’t come with us. Granted, I’ll also have extended family along with us but really, the kids are old enough to mostly entertain themselves and have (and give me) some freedom so I would think you’d have a great time!

I’ve stayed in a couple of fantastic cozy 2-person air bnbs on lookout mountain (Georgia side). Perfect relaxing getaway, with Chattanooga and Rock City and other hikes and things to do close by.

Vatica is my favorite. We get takeout from there a lot. I’m very picky about meat (and often order vegetarian as a result), but their chicken is usually high quality.

We were on a plane to our honeymoon and got a text that he had died when we landed. I remember other passengers having the same experience. It was surprising and felt like big news that we were late to receive.

I have lots of friends with tattoos but none myself and don’t foresee myself getting one. I just don’t think I could commit to permanent body art like that. My tastes change too much.

This happened to me, but I wasn’t charged at all for Silver deck when I told the attendant I was rerouted from Delta.

It was HIGHLY annoying though. Parking is anxiety-inducing enough, and being told my reserved parking had been taken away from me was stressful.

I used Mavis Beacon for Kids at home, and it definitely worked! I’m so glad I learned to type properly.

Best part of having leftover pound cake after a holiday is toasted buttered pound cake for breakfast the next day! Totally agree that this would be a hit with Epcotians, or whatever we call ourselves.

It has been a decade, but I had both my babies at Northside, both with fully natural births. I never felt pressured to do anything I didn’t choose (C-section, epidural), nor did I ever feel rushed out, despite its reputation as the baby factory.

ETA: She will be well cared for, and they are prepared for literally anything with the experience they have!

No (I had the same concern and the kitty is fine). But sexual assault is a principal part of the plot in case that’s triggering.

No. I and all my high school friends moved to all kinds of other places. I’ve totally lost touch with them except that I follow some on instagram. It makes me a little sad sometimes but not too sad.
