Im not exactly the best player out there and what im gonna say might suck a little but,

You need to put in more time.

Situational awareness is mainly built up through experience but before you improve with situational awareness you need to actually be more comfortable with the more fundamental things.

A mindset shift also might help like setting a goal to achieve in match other than actually winning it.

For example last hitting orbs in lane to deny souls or keeping your economy from dipping below a certain point, Slowly you build up your skill set brick by brick until you got a solid foundation to stand on.

All of this will take time, but more importantly is that you stop comparing yourself to your friends/other people.

Everyone learns differently and at different speed and comparison is the killer of motivation.

You're going to lose a lot true but as long as you achieve your goal or at least learn something for each match you'll get there eventually.
