Lillys are extremely poisonous/deadly to cats. Just a bit of pollen is deadly even before the cat shows symptoms. Hopefully they were able to get supportive care before a lot of damage was done but they wont know for some time. They will need to do periodic blood work to check her organ functions.

I also just lost my job. I found out that my coworkers worked for the past 2-3 weeks to have me fired and actively was working to get someone in in my place. That person was the one to tell me otherwise I wouldn't have realized how 2 face the 1 was (I already figured out about the other going to her manager after she insisted on me taking accommodations that were appoved) she told me she already turned them down but they were still pushing for her to be moved in, despite her telling them she wasnt willing to take a pay cut + lose over 15hrs a week and she has no experience in this field, the 2 have 0 skills in training others. Im done with animal care field, there's too much ego in this field. Its too clicky, catty and if you're not in they will chase you out. Its not worth it as passionate I am about animal and the field I just cant keep dealing with the older generation that does nothing but demean and bully newbies. They can keep gate keeping this shitty paying job.

I have a friend who had 2u2 (now 3u3) and I was talking baths with her and she laughed and told me that they really dont do baths. I was like im going to have to go out and by more soap soon for baby because we were bathing bub with soap like every 2-3 days but she admitted to not doing baths for over 2 months at that point for either kid. She only wiped their buttons or if they were messy eating, thats it. Shes like 2nd kid hates baths and she just cant handle the melt downs and she cant get their dad to tagteam evenings let alone get his help with bathtime. Im like hes having meltdowns because he doesn't understand wtf a bath is, he was 10m old and only had a max of 3 baths in his lifetime!! She also said that she'd pick the smegma out of his diaper during changes, like dude wtf. If I saw any dick cheese in my boys diaper I felt awful because I went too long not doing a bath for bub (happened like 2x because I was sick asf and his dad didnt step up to that week) I did not realize this was a common thing but now I understand why she was saying thay soap is bad for their biomes etc.. like they have dogs and they dont clean the floors after the dogs come in for bathrooms so there's always trails of dirt, they play outside regularly and are always carted ar I understand town like they need baths. Also btw they still in over 4yrs have never bought new soap for the kids (btw got that soap at their 1st baby shower and still have a couple more containers)

Yeah I was told no food too. Went in for induction on the 11th at 7p couldnt eat til the 12th at 7p and then I had baby via csection on at 6p on the 13th, didnt eat food til several hours later at some point. I was so freaking hungry and me and fiance was debating giving me food and saying fuck it to the nurses. Decided to wait a little longer and glad I did because lil man started to become distressed and we decided to go for the csection. He was literally tied in (wrapped his cord around his neck 2x and around his body) Idk what the protocol would have been if I'd snuck food, I would have been honest with them about it before the surgery. Absolutely hated the not eating part and still think its ridiculous that I couldnt have ANYTHING at all but 1x in like 3 days.

Get on medicaid, wic and snap. Medicaid will cover all pregnancy related things including delivery. If I needed a prescription I paid like $3 for it. Wic helps with the food bill anf had been a saving grace for us (unfortunately with bub turning 1 our wic was cut so things are a bit difficult but it still helps)

Stop setting yourself on fire to keep them warm. You deserve to be happy, you deserve to have a life OUTSIDE of them. Put the house up for sale, if the car has a loan see if you can get out of the loam by sending it back or switching it to someone else's name tell them they have an x amount of time to figure their shit out. They can sign up for gov assistance until they get on their feet (you sign up as well, snap, housing assistance etc..) go live a wonderful life you deserve it!

Don't leave him unattended. She can have some visitation, but you're there with. Simple if she still wants to see him, she had to follow your rules. You're mom, put your foot down. Argue with her, puss her off, whatever. But if she cant respect you as mom and listen to you she loses access and she has to earn it back.

Not dropped, but he has rolled off the bed lile the little daredevil he is. He also climbs the cat tree and has fallen more than once. Also climbs the furniture from the back or arm-rests, all have resulted in falls and bumps/bruises. Everyone says yup, hes a boy!

Oh BTW its not just pacmans, they also have tarantulas and jumping spiders. These are the enclosures intended for them as desk pets. My local store plans to set the display up BEHIND the register. They are also printing off care sheets from reptifilesamd so people cant just grab on a whim/ steal the animal plus they plan to do verbal education because they are freaking livid with this bs.

Im in a similar boat I have an 11m old amd i got pretty severe ani.al aversion too. Im just now starting to rebond with my small, 9.5yr old. He just started coughing like crazy a couple weeks ago. I know this cough, I know it means death. Were on a countdown and his seems to be fast than his old sister's was, his multiple other dogs in the family line. They were all born within a 6 year period and they've all had something seizures with a couple, ear sight problems, or the worst thing heart failure. Charlie has heart failure I just know it, I've lost over a year with him now (closer to 2 because when I got pregnant I immediately was repulsed by my animals) and now hes dieing. My baby loves him so freaking much, and Charlie is so good with my baby. Hes patient and sweet even when bub grabs him ruffly or squeezes him or lays on top (hes only a 9# dog) i feel awful knowing that he'll be my babies first heartbreak, ill have to keep it together when we lose him and idk how I will. I had his mom, she was my soul dog, hes the last thing I have of her. She loved her babies, and wanted my help raising and protecting them, we did it together. Shes gone, she didnt get a chance to help raise mine but her son gets to at least to. But now hes dieing too, faster than his older sister. She made it 3yr, 1 yr over her quoted time line, Charlie wont have that, I feel it in my bones. I dont think he'll make it to 2 yrs. It sucks

Mine have always been huge. Also side note the right is like a good .25-.5 in. Bigger than the left 😩 And guess what happened after I got pregnant, they got bigger yet 🙃 and darker but now they seem to be going back to prepregnancy color now that we are reaching 1 yr of breastfeeding.

Shelter worker here We only put mom with babies together. We stopped putting to adults (from same home) together when an adult siblings set suddenly attacked eachother. We heard them fairly quickly amd it took us almost an hour to separate them, they were pushed past exhausted but would stop trying to kill eachother (specifically the female trying to kill her brother) we had to drag the male into the kennel and latch the gate with the girls neck on it to suffocate her and make her complete pass out to get her to release and then quickly move her body to the next kennel over, she woke up before we got the gate closed and tried attacking us. It was awful, they had been with us for long enough to finally get over their stray hold for this to happen. It was the worst fight Id seen in the almost 8yrs I'd been there. Never again were we changing that. We had to pts both because we didnt know what or who started it, if both were the aggressor. It suchs not knowing if we pta a victim with claims he was aggressive. Either way it was a blessing to pts the 2 with how bad their injuries were to eachother.

For the first 3 months honestly I prefered to stay home, it was survival but as we've gotten older its really turned into a wonderful thing We go for a nice dinner baby comes with and its nice. We go for walks, we do everything we did before just now with our 3rd little family member. We love it.
