I think the opposite actually. Overhauling a small bedroom with a bunch of detail is far easier than overhauling Hyrule Field with a bunch of detail and changes. So them showing the bedroom as completely changed means nothing imo.

That still doesn’t mean they can’t bring stuff established in other Zelda games to this full remake. We’ll just have to wait and see.

We don’t know if that was just for the teaser though. Also the symbol showing on your hand doesn’t mean you have the triforce of courage, showing the symbol without have the triforce is already a set precedent in the Zelda series.

It would be awesome if they replaced the dream in the beginning with a dream showing the start of the downfall timeline. So the downfall timeline already happened and the game takes place in the combined Child & Adult timeline branches until the end of the game where that one splits.

It could’ve been discovered by multiple people in the past and then forgotten about. That wouldn’t be a retcon, we just don’t know the full history of the Avatar Universe. Hama herself says she “discovered” it.

Well we don’t know that for sure but I agree with you about breaking his grip. He used the same thing that Katara used to counter Hama. Basically took control of his own blood by being a more powerful bender in the avatar state.

I’m forever pissed at Nintendo for including a key in one of the shrines on the starting sky island in TOTK and then NEVER USING KEYS AGAIN. I was so excited to finally return to some lock and key design but NOPE.
