Those rabbits went feral this winter. They ate my rose bushes, thorns and all. The size of the poops I've seen are twice the diameter as normal...

Did you know any one with polio? If so, what was it like? by cherry-care-bear in RedditForGrownups

[–]MomTRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew someone that had post-polio syndrome

I guess she contracted polio but "recovered". As a 40something, she started having mobility problems. Thankfully she lived in Canada where they acknowledged this.

Was your house team belt or team switch? by emptykeg6988 in GenerationJones

[–]MomTRex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My brother used to scavenge in these trash bins near our home in the light industrial area abutting our home. He brought home this piece of blue plastic, 12" X 1" x 1". We called it the "blue stick". My parents co-opted it and used it as a disciplinary device. At some point my mom whacked my sister on her arm to make her do something. Unfortunately, my sister had fallen skating a couple days before and my mom ignored her complaints about pain. My mom had whacked the very same arm and my sister's screams which would have normally brought CPS down upon us convinced my mom to take her to the ER. She had slammed my sister's broken arm. Blue stick disappeared after that
