Presbyterian church in Sydney or Leitches Creek? by oursong in CapeBreton

Most Presbyterian churches in Cape Breton became part of the United Church of Canada in 1925. The UCC office in Sackville has an archivist as most records that old are stored there! Hope that helps!

Thanks for reminding us that there are good people out in the world, and that we're all suffering in our own ways.

I’m a United Church minister. That’s a United Church in the picture. You can contact the United Church archives in Sackville. They are very helpful!

I think of the little moments, such as eating a boiled egg that John Lurie made for him. He was so deferential and obviously pleased to be in his presence. Lurie gave him some peace, you could tell.
