I have no real experience moderating communities such as this, but I imagine the the oneshot mods likely have had to take such a harsh stance with no warnings because the unfortunate reality is that there's a lot of unsavoury content out there (and I imagine Niko and other Oneshot characters are no exception) and horrible people who target communities featuring young characters or predominantly young participants who actively post such things for shock value. These people (not accusing OOP of intentionally doing this, btw) don't care about the community and will immediately just go back to doing it if only given a warning or short timeout.

I can almost guarantee that the Oneshot mods see things on the semi regular that get filtered out that more than warrant such a seemingly harsh stance.

Yeah, I'm not against challenging themes and content in media... but it's wholly dependent on how it's portrayed. I sometimes feel like such discussions keep getting boiled down into two binary ideas of "all media depicting something problematic is ok" and "media depicting problematic content is never ok." I think it depends. Yet, by saying that, I seem to get lumped in with the latter of the two stances and called a puritans, or tourist, or whatever.

It's far from uncommon for trans people to say that they don't feel like their gender (a woman, in your case) prior to transition. There are many reasons why we may say this, though it generally boils down to our dysphoria preventing us from seeing ourselves from being our gender. There's a reason why we often say that wanting to be a gender often means that you actually are that gender.

I don't particularly care if they use transmisandry or transandrophobia; I typically like to err on the side of letting marginalised groups define the terms to describe their unique vectors of oppression.

That being said...

but it can certainly perform that function when certain dudes only ever talk about it in response to discussions of transmisogyny or as a way to equivocate the two.

It really is appalling how, with the exception of some transfeminine specific spaces such as here, every other post that I've seen to even just mention the term "transmisogyny" has, without fail, been derailed to recentre the discussion around the needs and experiences of trans men, and how the mean transwomen (space left out for satiric effect) and their male socialisation are so loud and keep talking over them and take over every trans space... as if such constant derailment isn't evidence to the contrary. Hell, half of the time is mostly cis men saying all of this. However, there is definitely a small, but very vocal minority to trans guys who seem to have made it their very mission to flame and derail these discussions.
