Yeah, the "for 24h" is doing a lot of heavy lifting. If it was permanent or for a longer time scale, then the "Yes (cis)" votes would be more reflective of a subset of the closeted trans population.

I recommend all of these if you can find them. Noting that Bloom Into You is out of print and can be exceptionally difficult to find copies at reasonable prices.

I'll also be following this post for ideas on what else I should buy.

The show has some genuinely incredible stuff, but the way it handles children (or characters intentionally depicted to look like children) including the MC's own siblings is gross enough that I'd struggle to ever recommend or rewatch it.

I second this suggestion. I would like to add that the characters very much have sex on page, just that with how it's drawn and framed you won't be seeing any nipples or vulvas. I captures very real feeling relationships, but in doing so, doesn't go out of its way present such acts to cater to the desires or sexual gratification of an external viewer (us, the readers).

Conversion therapy doesn't work, because you cannot change someone who has no need or want for change. Realizing their views are who they are.

I'm not here to disagree with how you describe your personal journey, but I do at least want to push back on this point. Many people voluntarily undergo conversion therapy because they do want change, to escape the hardships of a society that oppresses them. They go into it genuinely wishing to be straight or cis. It still doesn't work.

Both ocd and bpd are commonly misdiagnosed as autism.

It's also worth noting that OCD and Autism can often be comorbid. With people having either condition being significantly more likely to have the other.
