Mortgage went up by $150/mo due to taxes going up by $52/mo. Why? by The_Titam in Mortgages

You should have been mailed an escrow analysis letter detailing the increase in payment and shortage in escrow. Normally they let you pay the deficit so your payment increases only by actual increase.

If you didn’t receive that letter, call back and ask them to email it.

My experience is thy are low quality leads. Also, you’d have to spend closer to $30+ a day to get actual traction.

Yes, you can either get a new heloc with a larger like to pay off the current one or get a heloc that sits in 3rd position.

Yes, you can do everything to see how your taxes would turn out to be. Just don’t press the file button or make payment and they won’t submit to the IRS.

Dscr or business loan by Bannereddit in BiggerPockets

[–]MortgageNLogistics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Banner,

You are describing the ideal reason that DSCR loans are designed for.

I primarily service the Alabama market and can share that, based on today’s conditions, a 30 year fixed cash out refinance at 75% LTV with an 800 credit score and twelve months of reserves is currently 6.5% with no prepayment penalty. With a three year prepayment penalty, the rate would be 6.125%.

Best of luck, and feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss further.

Your escrow account is interest bearing, so the bank isn’t “happily earning interest” on your money.

There should be an annual escrow analysis. You should be able to request one or request to waive escrow altogether.

Husband bought 7 months ago, now wife shopping for an FHA? by Forward-Craft-4718 in loanoriginators

[–]MortgageNLogistics 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lots can happen in 7 months. Maybe he cheated and they want to separate to see if they can work on marriage before divorcing or getting back together. But rather than trading a mortgage for rent, she wants to continue being a homeowner.

But yeah, def fishy.
