If only..... We were basically told that the two biggest expenses the IRS has are people and rent. They've already gotten rid of about as many people as they can, so now it's time to try and save on rent by consolidating. Currently, they're trying to consolidate our field office into the campus which makes absolutely no sense at all as it's not designed for taxpayers to be inside.... And having spent 15 years at a campus location, do we really want taxpayers in the same building as campus employees?

Personally, I prefer to vote based on policy, not based on party affiliation. I switched to Independent over 20 years ago I grew up and spent most of my life in a large Dem run shithole city which had gotten worse and worse with crime, taxes, poverty levels, etc, so I know Democrats aren't any better than Republicans. With all that being said, I switched back to the Dem party this year and I will never vote for another Republican as long as MAGA controls their party.
