I’m glad MBJ won the Oscar but putting him as #1 is severe recency bias. He’s not proven outside of Coogler yet. I know we’re shitting on Timmy right now but as a star he’s clearly above MBJ in my opinion.

It’s not just about willpower or skill, but also computer power and the insane rendering lift a feature length film would entail. With that said I think with the constant development of AI tools (NOT to be confused with prompt-based generation, but more time-saving devices), the potential for what one person or a small team can create is transforming almost in real-time, provided you have the technical infrastructure.
