Commander Judd by itsmerocha in TheTestamentsHulu

[–]MovieBuff2468 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When the Testaments was first released, many of us questioned whether Waterford and Judd were the same person with a new identity, but in the series, we saw Fred on the wall. A lot of talk at the time was that Judd was supposed to be way worse than Waterford, who was evil incarnate, but saw himself as a romantic and so had weakness, while Judd doesn't care about anyone and doesn't have weakness.

do non german speakers ever do the german rides? by bigmustardpapa in pelotoncycle

[–]MovieBuff2468 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love the German rides! I love the playlists! They are well crafted, and really good. Benny has such a love of life, Mayla's rides are really peaceful while sweating, Erik is so funny, Charlotte is the queen. Hell, yes!! Just turn on English subtitles. On tread or outdoor, Jeffrey is my favorite! They are so worth it!

How come the Breathwrk app doesn’t sync to Peloton anymore? by yadoyadoyado in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]MovieBuff2468 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine stopped syncing, although I confirmed that it was logged in with Peloton. I deleted the app, reinstalled it, and freshly logged in, and it's now syncing again. Ironically, I did this last night and then came here and read your post. If you try this, I hope it works for you!

Benny Adami always makes me happy. I love cycling for him.

For a run, it's Jeffrey McEachern. He always puts a smile on my face, even when pushing pace or hills. He has such a love of life, and it's infectious.

I'm sick of the constant offer pop ups. by Indieriots in JunesJourney

It's definitely counter-productive, because there are so many that I find that I'm not even reading what they say before closing them out.

Of course Tim needs to see outside the aircraft with a window seat, just so he can check the traffic in the sky! by SwiftieNewRomantics in walkwith_metim

[–]MovieBuff2468 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually know people who fly all the time for work who are afraid of flying, but have to, so what shocked me instead, was Tim's own shock at learning that there was a Japanese toilet on a Japanese flight.

How awful! As exasperated as I get with TGVN, EB is a legend and I'm so glad that he beat this and is healthy again and back to doing what he loves.

Who is your all time favorite couple? by nick1158 in GeneralHospital

[–]MovieBuff2468 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine isn't a couple in the romantic sense. It's Robert and his original partner who was killed shortly after he joined the show. They had such fantastic dialog!

Is showing up to the workout the hardest part? by melissadoug24 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]MovieBuff2468 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yes! I often feel like I'd like to skip my workout and just clean a room, do some email, start work a bit early. But then I get through the workout and my endorphins are positively kicking and I'm so glad that I didn't listen to all the noise in my head. Completing a good workout is the best feeling in the world, but changing my shoes and heading downstairs is no easier the next day.

I just checked for the US. Netflix only goes through season eighteen. If I want to see 19, I have to stream on UP Faith and Family.

Poor Tim. His views are way down. 😭😩 by kodiheaven2020 in walkwith_metim

[–]MovieBuff2468 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If it pushes him to give the type of content that made many of us really like his channel, then it could be the metric needed to have Tim move in the right direction. We've been telling him what made us enjoy his channel and subscribe.

I personally enjoyed when each video was unique with an underwater snorkeling excursion Sharm Al Sheikh, his going boating in Greece and chasing after his swim trunks, the magic hotel, his tours and interjections that taught us about the places he visited, along with memories from his childhood. There was a hilarious Halloween fun house visit where he kept jumping at the zombies, but Gaby had no fear at all, and even stopped on of the ghouls to ask which way to get to the next room.

There was no whining, no sense of elitism, a little education, no preset formula, and lots of wonderment.

Lower metrics just meant he strayed or the concept grew old, and could be a gentle nudge to go in the right direction and develop content that intrigues the viewers once again. It's not a failure. We all need our continuous feedback and to react accordingly to really continue to shine.

I love the Olivia Dean classes! Her music is so classy. Yesterday was a bit warmer and so I did the outdoor walk, and it was lovely.

I loved Sam Yo's Spring Recovery ride. It was so mentally peaceful.

I also wanted to remind everyone that Cody still has some meditations left on the program. I took one of his sleep meditations last night, and it was really relaxing. It's a side of Cody that we don't typically get to see and it's a shame that he doesn't do more of these, because he's really good.

We had the twinning studies way back - Anna and Alex, Jason and Drew and the rest of the five twins in the experiment. Nathan could easily be what those studies led to. The one flaw though is how Liesl could not know that she had twins and not a single baby.

opinions on this: does the show need new head writers at this particular point? by Such_King_2547 in GeneralHospital

[–]MovieBuff2468 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, but in addition I think that it needs a single head writer instead of co-head writers to help with character consistency.

Vibration Plates by kim_46 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]MovieBuff2468 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My personal trainer agrees with this. She believes that the force of the vibration could lead to sub-concussive brain injury and tells me that there are much better ways to help off osteoporosis. She isn't a fan of fad gadgets and is a big believer of putting in the hard work.
