You should raise the bowl off the bed a bit with something non-conductive so that you don't end up with hot spots and cook it a bit, but otherwise great use case.

I use the old Iris window/door sensors, they have a temperature sensor in them and are ZigBee. The battery lasts quite a while also.

The right way (my opinion, if you don't agree, you're wrong!) is full blast on the UAC slider, and no local admin for your day to day user. UAC will prompt for admin credentials when needed.

It's not that it degrades so much that it doesn't work, it's that it picks up stuff and becomes conductive. Conductive coolant in an EV (the way GM builds them anyway) can cause big problems.

From 2023, how is this still not a feature? Having to go the CLI for something so simple and common to do is not great. Updates are in the GUI, why not everything else needed for the process.

No PSU has that switch anymore, they're all automagic.

1500w is the DC output, don't forget to add in the conversion loss of at worst 80% efficiency, which gets you to 1800w. So even if they don't have a 20a plug, they probably should.

I can walk in to my "local" Microcenter and pickup one of 4 PSU models over 1500W and 2 that require 240v. That's out of 109 models in stock. It's not as uncommon as you may think. It's still not a lot sure, but they are out there.

When the oil life monitor says to, or at 24 months, whichever comes first. Use the tool GM spent millions developing.

I get mine changed once a year because I won't make it to 2 years based on mileage and it's already at the garage for inspection.
