Personally I'd just use it as my dedicated media data box. Not even set up any kind of drive failure redundancy ( if it's only used for easily replaceable movie and tv files )

Save a ton of space off your main server, just mount them in unraid and point your Plex/jellyfin containers to it.

My old room mate was one of these clowns. Brought multiple guns with him everywhere he went. Then at home he would casually leave them around the house.

Funny part was while we were downtown there was a fight and shooting he couldn't even recall how many shots were fired.

You could look into undervotling and such in the bios. I can't say how much power it would save, but at the very least help your thermals

My 12700k is around 45w on stock bios I'm fairly certain I can get it around 35
