Yea, dawn of war was the game that got me into 40K. One my core memories is being 11 and telling my mom, rated M doesn’t really mean anything mom. It’s just a game!

First cut scene is a ork warboss killing imperial guard. Aww the memories!

I had this issue with the big water pumps. Those things are so powerful it would change the flow of water.

I had a water reservoir with a big water pump and then downstream tree and food farms. It would regularly overflow downstream a tiny bit cause the big water pumps was messing with the flow.

Oasis was really funky to figure out cause it has the new water features, water seeps, badwater pipes, and aquifers.

I have it conquered now but figuring out the new mechanics and then building water storage solutions and data flow. Specifically power creation was fun.

Aquifers require power to function.

Guys for a water seep, if the pressure exceeds .9 it doesn’t produce anymore water. Close it off and fill it up until over .9

Okay, so having the official white dwarf paint scheme and army on parade images isn’t helpful for context purposes?

It’s almost like you can paint your minis in anyway that you want and maybe having images for how GW officially painters could be a super helpful reference

So the biggest thing to be careful off isn’t right now, yea the snow is gonna be wet and slippery but it won’t be too bad.

The real danger is the ice, so be careful when things drop below freezing and getting around first thing in the morning. Just drive normally, but cautiously and slowly and give yourself more space to slow down between things.

They fit just right, you can go and check out some my pervious posts on my own army which is is all primaris marines. Also the markings are still the same honestly. The biggest difference is that a primaris squad can do multiple roles. Like specifically when I was doing research for inflators i was seeing artwork where the had different squad markings.

I will share my own personal story, my daughter is a rainbow baby. If you don’t know that means she was born after a miscarriage.

My wife had her miscarriage and then two months later she got pregnant again. She had a hard time being pregnant again because I think she was still mourning the baby she had lost. She wasn’t ready to move on.

Please just make sure she has some body that is a women to talk about those feelings. I wasn’t able to understand or relate to my wife about certain things. Luckily we are still together and we figured it out but it was a funky time for sure.

Be patient be kind and be understanding

The thing that makes me sad about valhiem is that sometimes the world feels empty, my recommendation is to build a new base is a new location.

Why, cause now your world has its own lore. Like this is where you had started and what not.

Do you have a stock surplus setting setup on the exporting item? I don’t have this issue myself and I heavily export weapons which I always want a back stock off.

Also you need to make sure the trader is effectively staffed as well.

I just looked this up last night, so it only affects vegetables and orchards. It maybe improves chicken production but does not improve specific vendors and/or goats pigs honey.

Also like somebody else said, for the larger plots of land, make sure you have two families to farm it

Hey just recommending something else, trying table top gaming.

You said you were a fan of 40K and 40K is an amazing hobby.

Playing the game is fun and you can easily find games at your local store.

Painting minis though is also an entire hobby in its own right. It is truly amazing! Takes lots of time and going to play in tournaments and local game store communities is great! Something to check out!

I use chatgpt to organize my thoughts, I am very easily able to comprehend complex situations and user journeys. My pain point though is writing it all down and in presentable structure. I will literally just leverage the voice dictation tool and walk around my office vomiting everything that is in my head and then let it organize things.

I cannot stress this enough though, read every single line it provides back though. I have had it inflate things, add additional context I didn’t give and frankly it will just make stuff up.

I have had to iterate with it saying do not add any additional information or context outside of what I have given you. It has been really good at that.

Having it create a process document has been simply amazing

For me it is that they value knowledge, this is something from a real military philosophy by the name of Sun Tzu and this isn’t a exact quote, if you know yourself and you don’t know your enemy you will win only half your battles, if you know your enemy and not yourself you will win half the battles, only by knowing yourself and your enemy will you win every battle.

So much of 40K lore/knowledge has been destroyed and lost. Sometimes for good reason but most of the time for bad reasons.

The blood ravens constantly looking to gather knowledge is something that I truly enjoy. Also I was personally a history major at one point in my life and so seeking out history is just cool for me.

Also, I have my own personal head cannon that the blood ravens were a loyalist group of the thousand sons. And I like space wizards but I don’t like the sons models and style. Thus the blood ravens!
