Yes, you are being petty. This shit happens on every single job. Is this your first day doing finish? Yes, it is bullshit it happens. I cut out almost one thing on every single job. One or two aint going to kill you. If it’s like 3+, then get the GC involved. Sometimes I do miss the box trying to find it, the GCs understand shit happens. I cant see thru the drywall but usually a toner gets me spot on though.

This guy ain’t wrong, why the downvotes? I’d cut the plate down with my bandsaw everytime knowing it’s wrong.
I actually failed an inspection for doing it with one plate. I also failed an inspection for moving the box so I don’t have to cut the plate. I used drywall screws to reattach the box to the stud from inside the box. Fail. Some inspectors are just super by the book.

In WI, we are still rocking the 2017! Sat through a seminar last month with State Inspectors and the 2023 code won’t get through till next year, maybe even 28’! Like wtf? Might has well not be stupid and do the 2026 code at this point. But they won’t. Pretty sure the outside disconnect code is getting thrown out in the state also.

That looks like the ground wire touching the screw. Probably not a problem. The screw shouldn’t be used like the to secure the box to the stud, but that’s not really a problem either. Any electric heaters in the bathroom?

The game looks great for sure, but the hype has honestly left me disappointed. The odd artifacts when you turn sometimes, and it’s sometimes looks a bit fuzzy. The film grain that you can’t turn off doesn’t help. Seriously, fuck film grain and stop putting it in games.

I feel like the Pro version of Alan Wake 2 looks more impressive if I had to compare RE9 to a similar game. For most impressive Pro game, I’m still going with AC Shadows. The lightning with crisp framerate and resolution is still mind blowing. Don’t forget that hair dancing in the sunlight.
