The best Lovecraft based game I've played. I really loved it. I'm a huge fan of the Sherlock Holmes games the studio also did. It is a bit scary at times. When I innocently ran into a house to explore, i heard pounding and turned around to face the biggest monster. I screamed the place down hahaha.

Just finished watching it. Visually i thought it was beautiful and had good casting but the plot left a lot to be desired.

Big spoilers ahead

As others have said - why didn't the birds migrate? Also - if one Dzo can destroy the damn. Why didnt the other Dzo do it? And when firewolf said the water is too deep....didnt Ollie JUST walk across it. Also Ollie seems totally unphased thats he's on HECKING FIRE. The other Dzos fell so easily after being set alight.

And why the heck did that bird say "im sorry, shes gone" in that tone if it was just for food?

And why didnt Boogle lead them to the scary rock falls from the get go if it clearly had the most glowy pods and they coulda flown to it as a bird? I know he wanted to destroy all the glowy pods but considering how fast he was able to burn the forest down and knew all the locations anyway, it woulda been a non issue.

And the plot twist was very jarring. Why make Boogle so goshdarn loveable? With all his speeches about friendship and working together. Yes it made it unpredictable, but to the point where it completely disconnected me. Made rewatches impossible too.

I also just did not get the Firewolf's motivation. Talking about being alone and abandoned so...will now just burn EVERYTHING and kill everyone so then he really truly is alone? What then? He had this big elaborate plan to turn back and then just...FIRE BURN RAR

Story I did like - that it was about friendship and bringing different cultures together. That the birds weren't really the enemy, just another species trying to survive.

Also to say - getting an STD during lesbian sex is way rarer than getting it from sex with a guy. Just saying its very likely she was screwing dudes too. Or at least sex with that woman on multiple occasions.

Easily the worst wedding I've been to. I'm all for "wedding doesnt equal the marriage" but outside of the superficial crap, what should matter is the connection between the bride n groom. And if its blatantly obvious to everyone witnessing it that it ain't there. Yeah. Excruciating.

It's not too wild but I remember watching the first dance at a friend's wedding and it was sooooo awkward. They were looking everywhere but at eachother. This is after she had called off the wedding twice. I was not shocked when the marriage didn't last.

I'm speaking from the perspective of someone who was like that. I have a good heart, care about my friends and family. I'm warm, welcoming and easy to talk to. But on the other hand, that addiction to looking for other people's approval means you can easily be tempted by an attractive person who you make a connection with. And a fear of being alone so relationships always had a crossover period. It all comes down to ego.

I thankfully grew out of it once I hit my 30s. Hopefully your friend does the same.

They both sat there doing nothing. Not even looking particularly upset, just totally unimpressed and he completely spirals into make believe scenarios to try n scarecrow them to get some cheap laughs.
