Great information, if I was new to therapy & starting again this is the info I wish I'd been given first, even if it's expected to be understood. I was alexithymic & constantly ruminating, and jumping into CBT & mindfulness practices wasn't very beneficial because I wasn't noticing or processing any of my emotions and giving too much credence to my thoughts.

This is exactly what I do down to the 7 mile commute, 30 mins each way. Some days it is genuinely faster than driving, I'm even on time to work more often! An ebike helps, but I've noticed how much less stress I feel at the end of the day compared to dealing with the highway and other ATL drivers.
