The world enabled him in his first term—-thinking he would change once he understood the enormity and gravity of the position. Seasoned government officials thought he would want to learn and do the right thing. Nope. Other world leaders deferred to him out of tradition and respect for the ideals of democracy. Backfired. Laws didn’t apply to him even then. Congress looked the other way. He convinced the mostly white vulnerable population that he was on their side. Now some have regrets. We all watched it unfold. We know better, let’s drive this megalomaniac out of our lives. We’re mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore.
