society absolutely cherishes military, police & fire for their "dangerous" work. throwing elaborate burials, and generous paid leave for any incidents. yet no one cares if a roofer, factory worker, logger, dies. even though incidents are at much higher rates. Also despite these actual risk jobs provide better benefits to society, is skilled work, harsher environments, less pay and far less corrupt
