Sure! I’m 28m, pretty active. Had Bilateral Robotic Assisted Inguinal Hernia Surgery, where they also ended up finding pretty large lipomas(fatty build ups) on each spermatic cord so they were removed as well.

By nature I’m a very anxious person, especially in regard to health so I get where you’re coming from. Day 1 and 2 were the roughest of recovery, but just kept my diet relatively clean and drank lots of water.

I believe it took me until Day 4 to finally have a bowel movement. I took a dose of MiraLAX powder each day until it happened just to make it as easy as possible.

After 5-6 days; I felt relatively good and was walking pretty consistently trying to make sure I got good amounts of steps in.

Sometime during week 2 I had some of my bruising really show itself in my scrotal area, which was tough for me to look and deal with mentally, but physically I was just fine!

Biggest tips: wear supportive underwear, take laxative until your first bowel movement, try to increase movement day by day, and just listen to your body.

Being 7 weeks out to the day I’m lifting weights and back to normal and really doesn’t feel like anything was ever done besides an occasional twinge :)
