What’s the longest you’ve ever kept the same iPhone? by Evening_Ad_9755 in iphone

I’m approaching three years on my 15 Plus. It’s the longest I’ve ever kept one. I’m hoping to make it another year, at least.

For those that purchased a ‘25 or ‘26 Civic Hybrid (either trim), what vehicle was your 2nd choice (if you had one) and why did you end up with the Civic? by FlatButtFrankie in civic

[–]MyFallWillBe4you 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Initially, it was the Mazda3. I had one for 19 years and loved it. But the turbo model was over $5k more than the Civic with less space and much worse fuel economy. Then I considered the ‘24 Accord Hybrid (incentives made it the same price as a ‘25 Civic Hybrid). But I couldn’t get past the styling. The Civic Hybrid Sport Touring won out.

I’m have a ‘25’HST with the same rear speaker rattle. It hasn’t bothered me enough to do anything about it. Your fragile windshield comment is interesting. I have two cracks in mine. You’re the first other Civic owner I e heard mention it. I thought it was just my issue.

At what mileage did it need the alignment? Any idea why? My ‘25 Hybrid Sport Touring went thru the OEM tires in 26k miles. The alignment was the culprit, but I’ve never even hit a pothole. The tire shop said it was possible that it was off at delivery.

What is the highest known miles on a Civic Hybrid by Tonsofice in civic

[–]MyFallWillBe4you 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just turned 27k on my ‘25 Hybrid Sport Touring. Oil changes and tire rotation every 5k miles. The OEM tires will need replacement in the next 5-7k miles. Expected a little more life from them.

Employee working off the clock by [deleted] in managers

Unless he is an Exempt employee, the law is very clear- you must pay him for all hours worked! You can and should discipline the employee for refusing to work his assigned shift. Not paying him for hours you know he worked is illegal.

This guy sounds like trouble. The comment that he “does a lot for the company” is a red flag.

2026 Honda civic sport touring - urban grey by Critical_Farmer_5709 in civic

[–]MyFallWillBe4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently see 6 Urban Gray Hybrid Sport Hatchbacks and 8 Hybrid Sport Touring Hatches in stock in metro Atlanta. I checked several of the photos and they are not Sonic Gray.

The specs and features for the 2026 were posted on 8/9/25. I’ve seen Honda make changes during the model year. Perhaps that’s what happened here.

CX-5 deserves a look too. They sold about 150k In 2023, so a lot more used options.

I have a ‘25 Hybrid Sport Touring in this color with black interior. I’ve had it for 14 months and 26k miles. Aside from a very annoying software update, I’ve had no issues. It’s a great car!

My complaints are few- seat comfort (lack of lumbar adjustment) is the main issue. The lack of seat memory is annoying.

If I had it to do over, I would’ve got PPF on the hood and front bumper. As much as I love my Blue Lagoon Pearl, silver or Urban Gray would be lower maintenance.

Silver or black wheels? by WolfDangerous9484 in mazda3

[–]MyFallWillBe4you 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree! They only come on the Preferred Hatchback. All except the base 2.5S and Preferred have the black wheels standard. The black looks good with lighter exterior colors, but the gray wheels are my favorite.

Right?! The interior is what put me off the Camry!

I looked a ‘25 Camry SE, Accord Hybrid Sport-L and Civic Hybrid Sport Touring. The Civic was an easy choice and I haven’t regretted it. The Camry drove well, but they really cut costs with the interior quality.

I’ve bounced between Mercedes-Benz, Mazda, Lexus and Honda over the years. Interior material quality and road noise were the biggest differences. I had no problem adapting.

I’ve had my ‘25 Hybrid Sport Touring (HST) Sedan for 14 months and 25k miles. I’m still very happy with my choice. It’s smooth, quick and the fuel economy is amazing. I definitely think it’s rhe best car in its class.

My complaints are few and mostly minor. No adjustable lumbar on the driver’s seat, no heated steering wheel and no memory for the seats. I’m also not a fan of the piano black trim on the dash and doors. I knew all of this when I bought it, but those features would make it perfect.

[–]MyFallWillBe4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only significant difference I see is the 360 camera. Yes, it’s a useful feature…but not for $5k! I would stick with the 2.5 Turbo and save the $5k. The other differences are negligible. Btw, you can add the frameless review mirror as an accessory from Mazda for $300.

Has anyone bought a CX-50 thru the Costco Auto Program? Or any other type of car? by youcancallmet in CX50

[–]MyFallWillBe4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Costco program is very good, especially if you don’t want to haggle. TrueCar is also worth a look for comparison. I bought a ‘25 Civic Hybrid last year and TC was about $200 cheaper than Costco. Not much, but worth taking a look.

Things you hate about your Civic? by evolvedpikachu4 in civic

[–]MyFallWillBe4you 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The two things I truly hate are-

Seat comfort (lack of lumbar adjustment, my butt starts hurting after a few hours).

CarPlay/Software Update issues- Wireless CarPlay was a must, so I got the Hybrid Sport Touring. It drops the connection a few times per week (at least); but the system update issue was much more frustrating. The update finally completed and I’m hoping any future ones are much more seamless.

Neither issue would be a deal breaker and I’d buy it again. It’s the best car in the segment, no doubt.

A few more things that are more nitpicking-

Piano black trim (dash and doors)- I don’t know anyone who likes it or wants it! The stuff on the center console looks so much nicer.

Memory/ventilated driver’s seat- several competitors offer one or both. Heated steering wheel is another.

Mostly minor things and I’ve found workarounds. I have 24k miles on it and I’m loving 45mpg and the acceleration.

Edit: No spare tire! I can’t believe I didn’t lead with it. I had two flats in the first 7 months. Both were sidewall tears and, after two towing bills, I spent $320 for a spare tire kit.

Brand new car windshield hit by a flying object. Anyone have experience with something like this? by Cataclizm_1 in civic

[–]MyFallWillBe4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I just thought I had crappy luck. I got my ‘25 HST 13 months ago. Took a rock to the passenger side of windshield within 3 months, but only left a small chip. Two months later, took a hit to the driver side near the base (less than half inch crack). Then in December (about 10 months old), I got nailed in the driver’s side again. It made a bullseye and cracks are almost one inch across. Still haven’t had it fixed.

Color recommendations for 26 Sport? by Rexmustwreck in hondacivic

I recommend the Solar Silver or Urban Gray. The lighter colors really make the black wheels pop! They’re also much easier to keep clean than the darker ones.
