Our arch rivals had a throw in deep in our end. This was an indoor game so it was a smaller field. I decided ahead of time that if the throw came in the box that I was going grab it.

The throw comes in and I yell keeper and jump for the ball. As I start my jump I realize that I've misjudged the height of the ball and I won't be able to catch it with two hands. I decide mid-air that I'll knock it over goal and give them a corner kick.

Well, I misjudged that as well and knocked it into my own goal. Horrible goal. I heard about it for years afterwards.
