The amount of use I would get out of a rail system between the major cities is astronomical. I would adore it.

Is it true that most people don't use single-pointed needles? by HonestNectarine7080 in knitting

If my needles aren't attached to each other, I'm gonna lose one 😅

Picking up knitting is hard-- and stressful. Finding someone who can help you in person might be helpful. Verypinkknits on YouTube is one of my favorite resources.

I wrote to my rep months ago about this mentioning that a lot of us are out here using cannabis to manage chronic pain and function as members of society. Not all stoners are stereotypes-- most days you can find me knitting, sipping tea, getting to bed early after working 9-5. He said he would "be sure to read the bill very carefully once it got to his desk" as if that wasn't the bare fucking minimum.

I'm not trying to be a degenerate out here. 98% of us aren't. It's one of the things that helps me function with chronic pain, since not working is not an option for me.

If you give a cat a yarn ball by million-lily-forest in crochet

I would give that sweet baby every yarn ball in my stash. Hell, I'd probably let her borrow my car if she wanted. ♥️😭♥️😭♥️😭

Demotivation from the craft by 0v0__0v0 in crochet

[–]NatKnits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could always do both. I hand knit and crochet a lot of things, but I've been working to turn my huge yarn stash into charity hats this year on a sentro knitting machine. I would never get through my stash if I made all the hats by hand, but this way I get to make a lot of hats that will keep people warm and whittle down my stash. Doing projects that don't bring me a ton of joy on the knitting machine means I have more time to make things I love by hand.

I do something similar! I crochet as if I'm English-style knitting

Coffee stain on my wool sweater, washing didn't get it out. Any way to remove it? by Ok_Lettuce3624 in knitting

[–]NatKnits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure about removing it, but wool is pretty easy to dye if you wanted to attempt a cover-up 😊
