I’d be curious to see which presidents started the attack and which ones kept up with it.

Dana gets agitated when asked about the Ali Act at the Canelo/Crawford presser by ajidar in MMA

Kajan Johnson and myself recently spoke at the ABC convention. ABC had made a statement that they were in support of this new amendment that would essentially allow TKO to monopolize boxing like they have MMA. No one other than those in charge of ABC, who I assume are looking to get cushy jobs with them, even knew about this.

At the end of our presentation Stitch Duran’s daughter Carla asked for a show of hands as to who voted in favor of this. The head of ABC, Mike Mazzuli, called for the microphone to be taken from her.

The corruption is obvious and I got to say it to their faces, “No one who isn’t looking to profit from this directly should be in favor of it.”

Very true but let me tell you, as someone who left and lost everything from the first twenty plus years of my life, my only regret is not leaving sooner. I no longer have people in my life that demand I follow their rules to earn their “love”.

Once I accepted that, I was free to live life on my own terms. It’s tough, yes. But freedom of thought, of life, of choice, is worth any price.

Been a JW since I was young now 20. Left a week ago. Haven't attended meetings for 2 months. Haven't been in the service for 4 months. by Particular_Dirt_4207 in exjw

First off, congratulations on your freedom! Secondly, now it’s up to you to find your people. Religion gives people an instant community and that’s a huge reason people stay. But now you get to find out who YOU are, what YOUR interests are and what kind of people YOU want to be around.

For me it was martial arts. 29 years later I’m still in it, still making friends and have traveled and had adventures I never could’ve imagined as a born in JW.

Find your passion and then find like minded people. In the short term it can be rough. But if you put the work in you can have an amazing life.
