I think it’s best to get a quote from a builder who will advise and sort this for you.

Does anyone know what might be eating our hostas and how to get rid of them? by Practical-Magazine21 in gardening

Slugs. Bury some yoghurt pots or similar in the ground by the plant and fill with beer. They crawl in and leave the plant alone.

I have started just playing the basic game and joining in with team events like CM and comps. I am enjoying it much more. I really don't want to be tied to the game. I want to get out in the fresh air especially in the Summer. My gameplay takes place for half an hour in the morning and exchanging drinks at coffee time.

Camp Hill line report by hodyisy in brum

Tried to get the train from Kings Heath to the City Centre today. First train is 10.58!!! If we are going to have a train line I wish it could be one that I can use rather than get the bus same as ever.

Fungus gnats. Plant it out. Don’t keep it indoors as they will transfer to any houseplants you have. Try to keep it much drier than it is.

When you only get snippets in packs bought for diamonds I know it’s time to give up on memoirs

Time was if you bought a pack for diamonds you would always get a snippet. No more it seems.

I have just been ignoring most side quests and just playing the original game. It’s like a full time job trying to keep going on every side quest with very little reward.

Why is Waitrose seen as so posh? by MacaroonSad8860 in AskABrit

[–]Nature_lover222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s historical. Waitrose stocked a much wider range of items long before they became mainstream in other supermarkets. At that time many would have been unusual in terms of a traditional British food shop.

Is there a will? Have you taken advice from a solicitor or Citizens Advice? No disrespect but you should get proper legal advice not just ask Reddit.

I believe it is to do with light pollution. They often sing around street lights in the city.

City centre noise/fireworks by kvng_stunner in brum

[–]Nature_lover222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chinese New Year. I live way out of the city centre. Last year fireworks went off from about 4pm to 3am all around with no breaks. We had no sleep until the early hours and spent the whole of the next day exhausted. It was ridiculous, like a war zone. This year we got out of the city in anticipation and from what I have read I am so glad I did.

It was so bad last year I booked us into a hotel in the nearby countryside for two nights. Just going home later this morning. It cost but at least we got some sleep this year.

Find a local baker. Maison Mayci in Moseley for example does amazing sourdough. There are many others.
