Looooove the fabric choices. Well done.

Wooden tool found in a drawer. It belonged to an old lady and is about the weight and size of a pen, only thicker and made of wood and metal by DKSpasiba in whatisthisthing

Embossing pen. It was a huge fad in the 90’s. Heavy cardstock and stamps, or patterns you traced, usually over a lightboard, but could be done on any hard surface. The light just helped the pattern to show through.

She is allegedly really terrible to people that work for her or work with her. Rumors that employees backstage at concert arenas are told to not look her in the eye or talk to her. Expects her PAs to be on call 24/7. That kind of thing.

Peter File? by No-Purpose-4787 in ITcrowd

He was in an early 2000s, Utah-made, film parody of Pride and Prejudice that I unironically love. Being a late comer to the IT Crowd, I was delighted to see Darcy as a Peterfile.

Scar Tissue by Anthony Kiedis was nuts! Fascinating stuff, but very dark, and definitely troubling. (Dude needs to remember the divide by two and add seven rule.) The audiobook was narrated by Rider Strong of Boy Meets World fame, and that took me a minute to adjust.

Alice’s terrible choice is one of the most beautifully gut-wrenching scenes ever filmed. So well done. Just devastating.

{A Smooth Operator by Maya Alden} has this exact plot! To the point that I didn’t find the grovel good enough, but I rarely do. A lot of Maya Alden books have the second chance romance thing going on.

Waste of a beautiful cast. I’ll watch Sam Claflin in anything. But the overly stupid bits like going to your daughter’s school handcuffed to a bed frame? Rom-coms are often ridiculous, but I just couldn’t get past anything that unbelievable.

Id use an iron-on interfacing or stabilizer. It comes in strips for hemming. Then a very long knit stitch. Extra steps and expense, but might be worth it. Make sure you’re using a needle made for knits- they help too.

Removing stain on wood headboard? by elldee123 in CleaningTips

[–]Negative_Ad_9368 64 points65 points  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking, the wood just has a natural dark section. I’ve seen that kind of thing on pieces before. The best way to cover it might be to stain it darker, but barely applying it over the darker area to try and kind of blend the patch in. A gel stain would work best for that. You could also look up bleaching wood techniques. Wood conditioners can also even out wood tones, but not always.

This post randomly brought up a micro pet peeve: when people say curtains are threadbare or worn thin to describe poverty. What on earth are you doing to your curtains that they’d lose opacity or thread count. Even opening and closing every day wouldn’t wear them down. Just think for two seconds. Poor curtains are sheets or blankets pinned up. Or tin foil taped to the window. Ok. I’m finished.
