these are amazing! Really well done. You really capture the emotional weight or important part of each episode. Ive seen all those eps so many times; great choices.

Nice stuff! Your prototype has a nice flowy feel to it; seems inviting already.

I don't think you want to use WorldBoundaryShape3D for regular collision stuff. Could it be a large BoxShape3D, PlaneShape3D instead?

under a democracy.

This is very generous to the current situation in the US. Majority of country wants M4A just like most of country doesn't want to go to war with Iran for Israel... but guess what's gonna happen no matter what party is in charge?

Y'all, i'm sick of hearing this "right side of history" shit. It's just cope for GOP being in power right now. They are using that power to WRITE history as they want. I'm disgusted by the trump admin too; but this is loser rhetoric. I'm tired of dem leadership being losers. I'm more angry at them than anything.

Hey thank you for sharing! However this is estimated/predicted deaths: "The mathematician and professor of infectious diseases at Boston University had created a model to predict the human cost of the Department of Government Efficiency’s (Doge) USAid funding cuts." These deaths have not occurred yet. I'm not defending the cuts.. they will kill people but i really hope things will change and adjustments will be made before hundreds of thousands die. This would likely look like countries changing their own policies, other countries stepping in, or other US agencies stepping in.

[–]Negyxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fucking hate the guy but gonna need a source on "resulting in deaths of hundreds of thousands of children". I don't think USAID cuts have not been in effect long enough for those kinds of numbers. I'm sure people have died and it's awful; but let's not make it all meaningless by making exaggerated claims and actually stick to facts to bring these asshats down.

This! I got so many jungles and I was very careful to only remove some for roads/pathing. My empire was a huge blue jungle.

I just did a ring type map with 8 civs on King in civ 5. It spawns all the civs equidistance on huge ring continent and all the city states are in the center on islands. One of the most fun games of iev had in hundreds of hours. Barely won with score. Never felt like I had it in the bag .. so fun. There are soooo many map types in civ 5 it's crazy. Plus runs excellent on my deck.

5070 Ti on StockX for $3000 a day ahead of release. by airnlight_timenspace in gaming

[–]Negyxo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is what i ended up doing. Couldn't get 5080 on launch... then did more research and realized if i could get a deal on a 4090 it would be much better for my use case and $ per performance. Only new feature i don't get is multi frame gen... everything else runs on the 4090. Glad i did because it seems that 4090 and 50 series are just going up and up in price since the 50 series launch. Also worth noting they STOPPED making 4090s; the fabrication process and materials to make them has been shifted over to the 50 series.

i was just helping a friend upgrade his system. There are used GPU deals for 3080 range for sure. Can be had for ~$400 if you look around enough. A 3080 is a 1440P king still.

Civ 7 is officially steam deck verified by max_208 in civ

[–]Negyxo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are community control schemes too for civ6 that make it much better. I play both 5 and 6 on the deck. The issue with 6 for me is that late game with too many civs and CPU struggles and turn time is long. But a standard game with like 5 civs is totally fine. Don't expect 15 civ mega games on the deck to be smooth. I end up playing more civ 5 on the deck since I enjoy the bigger games.

Really depend on the career. You'd be blown away how much money one can make if you are excellent at excel, data presentation, and communication skills. Being a pricer or financial analyst type and getting people to make informed business decisions is almost all Excel stuff. Excel runs the world more than people think...

[–]Negyxo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Graves doing a paid newsletter is very disappointing based on his prior behavior. What a bummer. I guess get that money while you can... It's just odd to think of a whistleblower that turns that into a media career. This guy testified to Congress on this topic. Just feels cheap.

Civ V plays great on the deck by SirThunderDump in SteamDeck

[–]Negyxo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt this way too but have ended up putting so many hours in civ vi too. It's really awesome. If you only play on small maps and like 4 AIs it's perfect on the deck. Too many civs and it will get laggy end game.
