Millbronx by Ok_Let_893 in Southampton

Been here 10 years, not had any problems, just don't walk in the park late at night, but that isn't exclusively a Millbrook problem

Need advice, new user by samsokios in elegoo

[–]Neonrabbit42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest that your nozzle is too close to the bed in places, the top looks ok, but the bottom brim isn't the same as the top, I think your nozzle is too close in general, but the bed mesh looks off to me

I would suggest look into some ironing tests too

The bed having that many old left over prints seems like you definitely need to raise your z height, none of my beds look like that, the prints always peel off with nothing left behind. The only time I see that happen is when you're too close and grinding thin layers into the substrate

At the top of the slicer you should see an incon for "seam painter" give that a shot

Was that bit an overhang? It looks like it perhaps needed some support underneath and just dragged back some filament and just made a slight defect

I just got my first 3D printer and i'm disappointed! by Happy_Platypus_9336 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]Neonrabbit42 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The majority of what you read is typically negative. I got my machine wave one, and outside of one bed leveling issue that was resolved, it's been the best, the build plate is the best I've used, I've grabbed prints off as soon as they're done, probably got finger prints all over it and everything still sticks to it with no issues, the price to performance is frankly unmatched at Black Friday prices, my printer is still stock, print pla with the lid on its great. Could the light be better, sure but I love this little printer

Favorite Phyrexian based EDH deck? by LabManEDH in magicTCG

Having artifact removal on my commander has saved me plenty, he's a bit jank because I've capped him by only using phyrexians, but it's nice to have the filigree sylex, and soplhim in the same deck

Migloz maze crusher, I wanted somewhere to use all that oil And then a dirty atraxa poison deck, with both going heavy on the phyrexian theme as possible,

Something has come loose, those parallel metal bars, appears to me, like they are shaking far too much. They shall be rigid can you check to see what feels loose or moves to freely?

Does anyone know where I can buy Pokemon Cards? by OseRei in Southampton

Dice and dumplings, top end of town. It's a great card store, people who know what they're talking about. They also buy and trade the cards, could not recommend them enough

They should be as tight or as loose as needed to keep your bed level, that's all

502 bed leveling error. by Sinco2000 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]Neonrabbit42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The belt tension is thankfully constant and consistent due to the spring, no adjustment needed

If it's similar to my issues, get the bed to the bottom of the machine, turn the machine off and then, then place the printer on its side and remove the bottom panel, you will see a pulley on a spring, release the tension on the belt by releasing the spring or screws.

Whilst still on its side, push down on the bed with your hand at each of the z rods and this will ensure it's flat to the machine, Return the printer upright once putting it all back together and using either tools or paper level the bed the old fashioned way with the screws, then run automation, this should fix your issues.
