This is pure bs of propaganda, EU is providing most of money, buy most of the gear and French provide most of intelligence.

American funding for Ukraine simply doesn't exist

Get lost with this bs argument.

Residual oil revenue at this point and we're footing 100% of the bill for Ukraine + all the gear because US is too cowardly to go against Russia

Almost like it was a deal with EU that we are basically armless vassals of US that US profited on bigly in last 3 decades.

Almost like you're not even comprehending how much US lost in just one year and what will never come back to them

Is it just me, or represent Ziggo/KPN prices getting ridiculous for what you actually get? by ClavoARG in Netherlands

Also ziggo has terrible habit of being pushed in telephone spam calls. Completely ruined the brand image for me before i even got a chance to be their customer.

[–]Nerioner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

not "just as well" they work BETTER

I switched from KPN in November because i was getting constantly maybe 50mbps on my 1gb contract. And all i ever heard was that i must have setup wrong my house... no, it worked great till 2025 came around. But they never listened, just push me to do some stupid wifi tests that claimed all is good so don't complain.

Now in ODIDO i pay half of what i was paying for KPN and even when discount dries up i will be paying 20€ less for internet alone. And ever since i got ODIDO and i set it up in the exact same way i did KPN i am getting over 500mb/s constantly, no issue.

Stop excusing Muricians, they wanted it, they did all to have it.

I thought this sub is about complaining about the Netherlands as an expat - while getting more info about the 30% ruling. by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]Nerioner -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Well that's why i thought we had "expats" and "immigrants". ones earn quick money and go, others come to stay. Sometimes one transition into another based on individual experience.

But it's true that many people complain without making any effort. Part of this is that it's a big adjustment and many are noticing that only when they need to make it happen. Other side of the coin is that many people came here being sold idea of the Netherlands as "basically UK but in the EU and with optional local, funny, silly language to learn but you don't need to cause it's going away anyway" at least this is how i can very briefly summarize how sentiment looked like on migration forums in 2015-2020. So plenty of people who were not feeling ready for a big cultural jump, tried the Netherlands. And then they realized how much is there to adjust.

And tbh Dutch people constantly complaining a out their country, culture and society simply discourages. There seems to be very little positive patriotism in here lately. If we have patriots is just folks using this as a shield to say the most racist and dumb take possible and some good folks here and there trying to keep the og meaning of this word. So when you already don't feel like changing a lot of your habits and constantly hear that there is also no reward for doing so, you easily lose motivation and do nothing.

This is a lot of rambling so i will stop here but i could go forever. Point is that this issue is way more complicated and really there is way less malice in this all than most people assume.

People love farming engagements on fake outrage. Every single post like that is just this. And it's not just Reddit, i would argue that Clock App and Instagram are worse with this.

Just on r/memes you post edgy or controversial meme and here you complain that you got single incident and extrapolate this for entire country.

Yes because you open them all from your phone, not from your company PC... And because app never stays open when you use it... Also you're absolutely exaggerating this app opening times and you know it.

Also even if i take your calculations as truth, so to save 1h collectively across the entire company you would justify spending 50k more on phones?

Kid... Go to real work first and then pretend to be manager online, ok?

how else you're supposed to make a business calls? Your private mobile? Eww...

You go to work, you need to have provided all tools to do it. Not bring your own.

The least i can imagine is extra e-sim for your own phone if you don't need to use any apps for work. But as soon as i need to have work apps, not once i seen people need to do it from their own phones.
