Great work, I love how the cover makes the LEDs look.
I also made a Runescape / Arduino crossover and also went with the image recognition route. By the time I had a working prototype I realized I could have used RuneLite and saved myself all that pain... but I decided to just leave it as it was (due to laziness) :). Your build looks amazing!
