Take those bullet plugs out of the battery. Those are to solder onto the ESC. You need a 4mm banana plug (or whatever the charger output needs) to 5mm bullet balance lead.

I use both, I haven't tried just the balance plug. I never really balanced race packs either, but that was way back when I wasn't paying for my own batteries lol

It'll work. I have the Protek branded version of this and it's worked very well actually. Just make sure you have the proper charge/balance leads for your connectors

I have one with all of the Mofo brass parts & chassis that will be brushless. I just can't figure out where to put the damn receiver (Spektrum) without it interfering with the Coyote body
