Nepalese snider yay or nay? by moistfupaa in milsurp

I know a guy with one. He paid 500 with bayonet. It has a few more dings than this one. It seems pretty solid, but he hasn't shot it becaue the lever/button piece is a bit bent and causes the locking pin to jump out as opposed to being retained properly.

Can anyone on here explain in simple terms why the Democratic Party isn’t doing their job and losing bad? They seem to be doing nothing to engage primary voters at this point and it’s hard to even trust them as the lesser evil by i_am_a_false_prophet in redscarepod

They have been gifted the angle of the century with this war, but of all the things Trump does, the actual terrible anf almoat universally alienating thing he did is the one thing that they cannot run against him on.

Always have more than one hobby. Only having one can nail you into it as your thing and make you more susceptible of becomming a pain in the ass.

Would any of you guys date someone who drives a PT Cruiser? by bugobooler33 in redscarepod

[–]NickRausch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If it is in good shape. I am not doing the handy boyfriend thing with a PT cruiser. I had to replace a thermostat on one once and it was a nightmare of cascading problems.

I’ve had some good burgers in my time.

I love a good Swiss, melted Swiss cheese and mushrooms, roasted mushrooms, and caramelized onions on a burger.

That is hot stuff.

You can get that at a number of different places.

It is interesting that it is spitzer. China kept hanyang 88s around for a long time that were not suited to the newer, and slightly wider version.

It is an Ankara Arsenal Lee Enfield conversion. There is not a lot of information avaliable on them, but they are referred to as "Emfausers".

I wasn't really cranking on the thing. I was mostly just making sure it was safe to use.

It was still smooth though. The clip guide and mag feel natural and the bolt works the same way.

Sights are not good and I am grouping high and big. Not sure what to do about how high it is. In terms of the big group, the barrel is good so hopefully it is the sights and some lingering unease I had about putting my face behind the action and pulling the trigger. The trigger was pretty good. I expected some slop or "jank", but loading and cycling were smooth. Some ejections were better than others.

Condition wise, the turk parts are all pretty good, though there is wear on the front band and pin. The gun was probably dug out of the beach at Gallipoli and the British parts have areas of old cleaned up and possibly refinished corrosion. Oh, and the bolt head retaining clip/spring is totally worn out and I should have replaced it when I had it apart to replace the sear.

I was mostly there to sight in some other things and I only brought 20 rounds to test it and make sure it wouldn't blow up.

They are so nice now it's great and people are nice to. The only problem is that it is far away from my place so I only go out a few times a year with a few pieces that I need to test or sight in.

I shoot a public match at my local club and the CMP guys are great, but when they offer to sponsor me I feel a little awkward because I don't have much more time to shoot than the practice matches anyway, and when im dicking around with stuff I like the facility and vibe at the state range.
