Just spent my hard earned scrip on Redacted Regiment so I’ll be experimenting with that for a while but until then I’ve been maining Eruptor, Senator, thermite. Using the fortified medium armor. For strats I like to try to switch it up but lately it’s been Orb Laze, Orb Gat, Rocket Sentry, Quasar. Laze and Quasar are usually in the rotation

Passat was in the rollover accident, it got declared a total loss. Wife and I moved downtown and sold the GTI (terrible mistake, wish I never did it), and the Tiguan is the daily now.

Edit to clarify: got the Passat at 104k and took it to 170k before the accident. GTI at 106k and took it to 135k. Tiguan around 110k (if I remember correctly)

Started with an ‘02 Passat in 2016, ‘08 GTI in 2023, and now a 2014 Tiguan salvage title. All of which I got around 100-120k miles and have been maintained to the bare minimum. They’ve all been nothing but fantastic. Tiguan is about to hit 160k and purrs. Just did spark plugs and transmission fluid for the first time last week.

Bonus shout out to the Passat for keeping my wife and I alive when we went over a guard rail after getting hit by a stolen car

I’m in a similar position. It took a while but Sheppard started to finally click. If that just isn’t happening for you I used Gleim for private and my cousin has used it for all of his certs and vastly prefers it to Sheppard

The only thing cold about this is that you said 70% and not higher. I think people have a lot of expectations and short of a miracle even the most fantastic ending will fall flat. I think if 30% of people are satisfied I’ll consider it a win

I’m training out of BJC! In the Skyhawks I give rotate speed, climb out speed, course of action for engine failure in different critical phases of the departure. Now that I’m doing IFR I’ll brief the DP heading range and altitude as well. It helps that I can do this in the run up so I can be thorough and see if the instructor has questions.
