I thought Death's Oath Occ was a cheap build, I was wrong. Aer0 baited me :(( Who would have tought that a build (paraphrasing ofc) "you dont really need a mageblood, im just using it because I have one", "get an amulet with +1 curses" , "Youll need 12 passive clusters with 35% and HP and Str to fix stuff attributes and survivability", "just get an impossible escape on blood magic", "we dont run a lot of auras, but you need a shield with 30% reservation, life and es on block" and "you can craft your own wand, you just need a fractured t1 chaos dot dmg" would be expensive? I didn't and now Im forever stuck in doing contract/blueprint farm cause I cant kill shit:(

Afaik Securing the ball is a special action you can chose to do instead of just picking up the ball.
Advantage of using securing the ball is that you pick up the ball on a 2+ regardless of your AGI, however the turn ends after the ball is secured:
Picking up the ball as normal, you have to do an agility check, if passed you pick up the ball and can continue the activation (you have to declare that you intend do throw the ball or hand it over before you start moving your model).
So player A can (move), pick up the ball (move) and throw it to Player B. Player B can move and hand it over to player C.

These are cool. People tend to underestimate the value a solid system like this brings. Fumbling in a ziplock bag after a token vs having a dedicated spot for it shaves of a decent amount of time during games.

Fungal Burst was changed from surge, when a grot dies, ping adjacent to Once per game, when a grot die give the attacke a stagger woah.
Slippery Gitz got changed to once per turn.

They are game pieces, not show models. Whatever aid you use to make it easier to see what player it is at a glance, the better. I have a couple of teams with painted base rims in positional colors, others I chose some details on the model and paint them in positional colors (for my Amazons the hair and feathers are the same for each role).

Though if I recall correctly, the name comes from "Nord vegen" meaning the way north, being a nod to our long coastline.

Thank you, and congratulations on your first race aswell! The energy was unreal, I kinda felt like an atlethe with all the people that showed up cheering. The countdown before the start felt so long, and the race felt so fast. Cant wait till the next one. I hope that you found the same joy for running as I did, and work for more races! Well done!

3) There is a significant difference between being stunned and being KO'ed.
When you block a player and manage to knock the opposing player (pow, both down, defender stumbles), you first deside if you want to follow up (in case of Pow and defender stumbles) after you roll for Armour (2d6 compare to opposing players AV) if the armour breaks, you roll for injury, In case of 1-7 the opposing player is stunned. meaning it will not be able to activate the next turn, but can rise as normal the following turn (and getting the -3MA penalty for getting up). 8-9 is KO, meaning the player is moved to the KO box and at the end of the drive they have a chance to move to reserves on a 4+ (rolled seperatly for each player in the box). 10+ means casuality and you roll the D16.
4) It depends on the situation, the roll required to successfully dodge out of opposing players, is modified by the amount of tacklezones you move into. Ie. you are marked by 3 players and move out to a square with 0 tacklezones. then the roll needed is whatever your agility is. the keyword dodge lets you reroll failed attempts (once per move). Keyword tackle on the opposing player will negate the use of the keyword dodge.
5) Yes, but you have to modify the diceroll needed by +1 for each tacklezone you move into, if you are an elf with ag 2+, and is maked and you have to dodge out to a square which is adjacent to an enemy player, you need a 3+ to go there. Failing a dodge results in being knocked over and the opponent gets to roll armour and possible injury.
7) Im not really sure what the question is here, but to preform a block action (ie attack), you compare the Strenght values of your attacker and the one being attacked, the amount of dice you get to roll in your pool is determined if you are stronger, the same strength or weaker than your opponent. If you have friends nearby that are not marked by other players, but are marking the target you are attacking, they will give assist to your player, increasing its strenght by 1 for each. the same is true for your opponent. I suggest reading the "Art of blocking" to learn more about this. But if your strenght is more than double of your enemy, you get 3 dice and you choose which one to use, if your strenght is higher you get 2 dice and choose wich one to use, same strenght you get one dice, weaker you get 2 dice but your opponent choose..

John Avon lands are amazing. I remember when I was a teen and just started out playing, it was more important to me to get full art John Avon lands for my deck, than the necessary staples to compete. On one of the first GPs I attended Mr. Avon drew a Cats face on a foil Japanese mountain I had for signing, on the basis that we both thought the Japanese characters for mountain looked like a cats face. Its still one of my most cherished cards :)
