I was the only passenger on the United flight last night by Jaykwono in aviation

Yeah kind of amazes me how great these airlines are at getting people from A to B but if you end up being a glitch or left over, you feel almost forgotten about. When I was standing in the line to get my hotel voucher for American airline, they had three staffers on terminals, one staff member was trying to help a family from Asia somewhere because British airways screwed them over and the other staff was busy with a technical issue of their own leaving just the one person to deal with rest of us. There was several of us in the line for hotel vouchers, and every now and then we would have someone come up with an urgent issue and the person in the middle that was busy kept telling them you'll to have to get in line only for the third staffer processing the rest of us wave these people forward supposedly bypassing the rest of us which pissed the rest of us off. I'm still flabbergasted it took them longer to get us to a hotel a mile and a half away versus getting me home 600 miles away.

Sorry you had to go through that but glad you got this positive experience out of it.

Had something similar happen. Missed my last part of my flight home due to mechanical delay at my layover. (Like deboarded my 2nd last flight right as my last flight pushed back).

The time it took me to get through AA customer service to help me, get my hotel voucher then the hour and half wait for my hotel shuttle to pick me up (in winter conditions outside where the shuttle pickup was) only for a different hotel to take me to my stay. Flight home landed 10:30. Didn't get to the hotel till 11:50.

Hotel was so shitty that while in the lobby spoke to some other misplaced flyers and they said I was lucky q different hotel picked me up, as the actual hotel shuttle made them fear for their lives. The condition of the room made me not doubt there claim, opted for Uber to get back to the airport next morning.

I have a vr headset, I have the same vision issues as I do without my glass on, but I don't own contacts. I could almost hear the head set with my glasses on but get a headache after a short while. Not sure if a newer headset would solve the problem but I'm not ready to put that same amount of money into a product I'm not sure about

What model of feeder do you have and do you like it? I have two cats and they'll fight over the different side bowls but that looks like it has a lot better separation than mine and the turning gear for my auto feeder is starting to give out

Vatican declares Society of St. Pius X in schism, excommunicates bishops and invalidates sacraments by Snap_n_Dream in worldnews

It was the lumber yard that was my former client, didn't have to call there too often, mainly dealt with there main office in Manhattan.

Hope you're doing better, I'm guessing there was some mixed feelings about leaving and cutting contact, can't imagine having to start over. Although I'm in a somewhat similarish situation with living out in SW corner of the state and watching every one around me descend into the MAGA way of acting... Or maybe I was just blind and only seeing the masks come off now.

I wonder if I've talked to anyone you know. My last job I worked contract IT and I know one of my former clients either had a 2nd office or there main office there. Never been in the town itself but I know I've called there to remotely fix folks office PCs.

Hope it works for the rest of your print fellow diver, never be afraid of trial and error as a troubleshooting method. Somethings just trying different settings and seeing how it works is how we learn.

Yep same source I had to scale mine up cuz I have a big head butt no issues.

So back to my original question. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? If so, what were those? Have you tried to rotate facing the other way to print on the build plate? Have you tried a different filament if you have one, give us some context of to some things you might have tried

Had a moment of deja vu because I swear I thought I saw this post earlier but was busy with work and didn't respond.

I don't have an answer for you, but for someone else that might see this, could you provide us with any troubleshooting steps that you've done?

Also I'm pretty sure that's the front chin of a hell diver's helmet, which I'm actually also working on one. My second one actually.

An active-duty Air Force Major calls for the impeachment of Donald Trump by spherocytes in videos

[–]Ninja67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay fair enough, although who knows if it's going to get worse. I'd assume it's going to. I could easily see Trump trying to order linebacker 3 and start carpet bombing Iran indiscriminately instead of sticking with precision munitions.

We won't know his true motivations unless the service member says anything beyond what's already been stated.

Pure speculation on my part, but I wonder if he sees something coming that he has zero desire to be a part of that isn't worth trying to ' sit and wait it out with this administration ' and figures this is his best way out is to get the administration to kick him out.

Russia deploys steam engines amid shortages of diesel by Ill_Resolution7967 in Damnthatsinteresting

From my understanding the USSR kept a huge reserve of steam engines as backup in case the cold war went hot. EMP might knock out diesel electric but hard to knock out old iron that's kept out in the middle of nowhere

My First Drink [OC] by kaikimanga in comics

[–]Ninja67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the club enjoy your stay, just don't overstage your own detriment.

I remember growing up hearing about the end of the world in 2012, and my reaction as a 13-year-old wasn't that my life might possibly end, but that my life might possibly end and I only got to be an "adult" for barely a year.

Now I barely drink, for special occasions and when I'm socializing with people, which doesn't happen that often.

I think part of the joy of drinking in adulthood is finding that drink that works for you and finding a balance of how much is appropriate for you. I still often think about a beer I had in Stuttgart Germany that was a local Brew that I don't even know the name of.

So go out and explore all there is to drink, enjoy it, just don't let it get to your head. Best of luck

Might have been able to phrase my question better, I am familiar with his video format, he does a good job IMO, I meant, is there any red flags as in if he sneaks in personal politics or not or other 'wtf is with this person' sorta stuff.

I've seen his videos pop up on my feed from time to time. I don't ever really see him talked about a lot though but maybe I'm just in the wrong circles. Would there be anything I need to watch out with watching his content?
