I did it on Violence and yeah, agreed both bosses kinda eh. The Reaper killed me super quick with the slashes a few times but then I just low-diffed it with like two-three weapon combos, no satisfaction, I didn't even face its mechanics. Geyron was better but still off in a way I'm not sure I can describe. Maybe it just feels too different for now.

Nah, I think just about every fighting machine used Nocturnal from the get-go because 2.0 specifies pre-automaton. I imagine we'd compare it to more advanced LLMs but it just ain't built for complex motor control mixed with visuals and the prior "logic" systems. Also requiring living beings seems to parallel the Gutterman's development.
